This is what Ephesians 2:10 states: -

Ephesian 2:10: - 10 For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them.
NKJV

I am just wondering what others think is the "good works" that Paul was pointing to?

What did Jesus do? What did He tell us to do?

But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you. Matt 6:33
And then how specific is this?

Then said they unto him, What shall we do, that we might work the works of God?
Jesus answered and said unto them, This is the WORK of God, that ye believe on him whom he hath sent. John 6:28-29

Nor do we need to do it all alone...

Lord, I believe; help thou mine UNBELIEF.
...Jesus...rebuked the foul spirit, saying unto him, Thou dumb and deaf spirit, I charge thee, come out of him, and enter no more into him. Mark 9:24-25
... and then again can we do it all alone?

I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing. John 6:15

So then ask Him for help:

Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you:

For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened.

Ask then for help in our unbelief and for help do any work He sets before us: First to believe and then...?

Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered. Rom 8:26

My thoughts about the "good works" mentioned in Ephesian 2:10 could refer to the opportunities God presents us with as we go on about our day. Simple things like, holding a door for someone, helping someone to load their groceries, simply being kind to everyone, especially those who are not so kind back. The Great Commission! Smile at folks, especially those who seem down, live the love!

Do these two verses give us a clue?

Daniel 7:13-14: -
13 “I was watching in the night visions,
And behold, One like the Son of Man,
Coming with the clouds of heaven!
He came to the Ancient of Days,
And they brought Him near before Him.
14 Then to Him was given dominion and glory and a kingdom,
That all peoples, nations, and languages should worship/serve Him.
His dominion is an everlasting dominion,
Which shall not pass away,
And His kingdom the one
Which shall not be destroyed.

What I understand is that we must have the right spirit for the right purpose, the spirit of unselfish, whole-souled devotion to our Creator. Read Ephesians 2:8, 9.

Now that we have received the free gifts of understanding and accurate through Christ, we should be inspired to share these gifts of knowledge with others-when possible. Compare Matthew 12:30.

"""Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind"" by "presenting your body as a living sacrifice to God", all the time.

Now that we have received the free gifts of understanding and accurate through Christ, we should be inspired to share these gifts of knowledge with others-when possible. Compare Matthew 12:30.

Here is Ephesians 2:5-10 for reference: -

Ephesians 2:4-10: - 4 But God, who is rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us, 5 even when we were dead in trespasses, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved), 6 and raised us up together, and made us sit together in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus, 7 that in the ages to come He might show the exceeding riches of His grace in His kindness toward us in Christ Jesus. 8 For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, 9 not of works, lest anyone should boast. 10 For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them.

Marks, unless we worship God, which is our Good Works, then we cannot in all honesty lead others to also worship God/Christ through our discipleship of them.

Matthew 12:30: - 30 He who is not with Me is against Me, and he who does not gather with Me scatters abroad.

Jesus in His discipleship of His disciples led by example in that he openly worshipped His Hevenly Father, God, as He taught them to also worship their Father God.

It is out of our open Worship of God, our Father, that we are able to disciple others in the way of also worshipping God. It is out of our worship of God, that we receive the right spirit to disciple others in the ways of the Lord God.

Good works prepared before hand -

`....speaking the truth in love, may grow up in all things into Him who is the Head - Christ - from whom the whole Body, joined and knit together by what every joint supplies, according to the effective working by which every part does its share, causes the growth of the Body for the edifying of itself in love.` (Eph. 4: 15 & 15)
