I believe He will.
God doesn't go against his own Word.

If you don't have the key to unlock the Words meaning you will create your own notions and visions which are not intended.

You doubted your own understanding of Isaiah 43:18-19 and rightly so...trust you gut!

What was the former heaven and earth passing away in that context?

@Marilyn C while you are working on that

Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the former heaven and earth had ceased to exist, and the sea existed no more. Re 21:1.

Symbols need explaining:

Former Heaven and Earth Period?
New Heaven and Earth Period?
What does the Sea represent? (I'm guessing you don't apply a literal reading of this LOL)

Don't forget to ask the right questions!

Same to you.
It’s not necessarily your fault, as you’ve simply been taught in a certain way, and now that perspective has become ingrained, making it difficult to let go of any bias. The issue often starts with making assumptions about a text without fully understanding what it’s actually trying to convey.

If you were truly open to understanding, you’d engage in a manner that encourages a deeper discussion, but instead, you've opted for an approach that has led to this fruitless conversation.

I feel the same about you.

For starters I cannot see where the devil is ever called Lucifer in the Bible.

If you are JW, I do not recognize the bible you use, one revised just for the Jehovah's Witness organization.

I use the 1611 KJV:

Isa 14:12-15
12 How art thou fallen from heaven,
O Lucifer, son of the morning! how art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations!
13 For thou hast said in thine heart, "I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north:
14 I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the most High."
15 Yet thou shalt be brought down to hell, to the sides of the pit.
KJV

The Hebrew word translated “Lucifer” means “shining one.” The Septuagint uses the Greek word that means “bringer of dawn.” Hence, some translations render the original Hebrew “morning star” or “Daystar.” But Jerome’s Latin Vulgate uses “Lucifer” (light bearer), and this accounts for the appearance of that term in various versions of the Bible.

Does that detract from the Biblical fact, that God is speaking about the devil? The KJV translators put an alternate reading for "Lucifer" in the side margin of their original 1st edition KJV Bible, and it read, "O Day Starre". Thus they also recognized that the Hebrew did not use the name Lucifer (light bearer).

What do you think their reason was for using it then? Simple, it was to make certain... brethren reading that Scripture would understand just who God was talking about (i.e., the devil), because there is only ONE TRUE Morning Star and that is Jesus Christ per Revelation 22. So newer translations that having something like 'morning star' instead of 'Lucifer' might easily mistake that Christ is being talked about there instead, and thus turn that Isaiah 14 Scripture against God.

I agree and that there is no more sea. All literal.
