There is only one Gog Magog war. It happens after the 1000 years.

Not correct. There are two.

The 1st one of Ezekiel 38 names the specific nations that will represent Gog/Magog coming up against Israel on the last day of this present world, at the battle of Armageddon.

1st one - Ezek.38, specific nations given that come up against Israel on last day of this world.

2nd one - Rev.20:8-9, nations not named, and these come up against the "camp of the saints" on earth, which means the CHRISTIAN "camp of the saints" on earth.

Is there a difference between today's Israel and the future "camp of the saints" after Jesus' return? Yes, of course. It's about timing, because during this present world, on the last day, Israel in the holy land is still NOT a Christian nation made up of 'saints'. The majority of Jews in today's nation of Israel still reject Jesus Christ.

But for Christ's future reign with His elect, on earth, the "camp of the saints" and "beloved city" (new Jerusalem, on earth) will represent Christ's base of rule with His Christian saints. Just by that difference between this world, and that future time after Christ's future "thousand years" reign, makes it easy to know those two Gog examples are different times and events.
