You are doing exactly what I warned against. You claim to speak by the Spirit, then suggest that anyone who questions you is speaking against the Spirit and will face consequences. That is not biblical authority. That is an attempt to place your interpretation beyond examination.Yes, He is. But you have me all wrong, and your own understanding of the scriptures is apparently not working for you. And you should know that men do not judge the Spirit in those Christ sends, without consequence. Are you so perfect that you think you can judge if a donkey, or a pagan, or a king has authority from God? Are you so foolish?
And, no, binding and loosing in heaven what is on earth is given to His church--which does not include those who speak against the Spirit.
Scripture commands believers to test spiritual claims. “Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God” (1 John 4:1). Paul wrote, “Let the prophets speak two or three, and let the other judge” (1 Corinthians 14:29). The Bereans were called noble because they searched the Scriptures daily to determine whether Paul’s preaching was true (Acts 17:11). Even an apostle’s teaching was examined by Scripture, yet you act as though questioning your claims is questioning God.
Your references to a donkey, a pagan, or a king prove nothing about your authority. God speaking through Balaam’s donkey does not mean every person claiming divine revelation must be believed. God using pagan rulers does not place their words beyond judgment. The issue is not whether God can speak through whomever He chooses. The issue is whether God has spoken through you, and Scripture gives us the right and duty to test that claim.
You also misuse binding and loosing. Jesus did not give the church unlimited authority to declare private interpretations as revelation from heaven. In Matthew 18, binding and loosing is connected to church discipline and agreement with Christ’s revealed will. The church does not create truth, and it does not bind heaven to the opinions of men. Heaven’s authority is not placed under your interpretation.
Calling me foolish does not answer the Scripture. Claiming spiritual authority does not establish spiritual authority. “To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them” (Isaiah 8:20).
Your claims will be judged by the written Word of God. You are not above that test, and neither am I.
