Well stars and galaxies did develop after the Big Bang, nothing new with that. Matter as hard objects and matter as gases, it looks like there is a theory that particles exploded and turned to energy and gas as matter and anti-matter came into contact with each other. So depending on what matter you are talking about it could be less hard matter. Right now the most abundant substance in space is hydrogen making up 92% of all atoms. Matter did not disappear it was converted. You have matter, anti-matter, dark matter, and gases....subatomic particles. Now the volume of all categories of matter, hard to know.

Why There Was Less Matter After the Big Bang

After the Big Bang, the universe was initially an extremely hot, dense state where matter and energy were in perfect balance. However, most of the matter and antimatter annihilated each other, leaving behind only a tiny excess of matter — about one part in a billion — to form everything we see today CompleteEra CompleteEra.

1. Matter–Antimatter Symmetry and Annihilation

In the first fractions of a second, particle–antiparticle pairs (quarks–antiquarks, electrons–positrons) were constantly created from energy and then annihilated back into energy. This process kept matter and antimatter in equilibrium. For the universe to have any matter left, a baryogenesis event must have produced a small asymmetry: slightly more matter than antimatter. This asymmetry is still not fully explained by current physics sentinelmission.org sentinelmission.org.

2. Cooling and Particle Formation

As the universe expanded and cooled, the energy density dropped. Around 1 second old, quarks and gluons combined into protons and neutrons. By about 1 minute old, protons and neutrons had fused into light atomic nuclei during Big Bang Nucleosynthesis, producing roughly 75% hydrogen and 25% helium by mass, with trace amounts of lithium CompleteEra CompleteEra. At this stage, matter made up only about 0.000001% of the total energy density — the rest was radiation CompleteEra CompleteEra.

3. Inflation’s Role

Before the hot Big Bang phase, a period of cosmic inflation stretched the universe so rapidly that any initial matter was diluted to near-imperceptible levels. Inflation also smoothed out density fluctuations, setting the stage for later structure formation Wikipedia Wikipedia+1.

4. Recombination and the Cosmic Microwave Background

About 380,000 years after the Big Bang, the universe cooled enough for electrons to combine with protons, forming neutral hydrogen. This “recombination” released the cosmic microwave background (CMB) radiation, which still fills the universe today. At this point, most of the remaining matter was in the form of neutral atoms, not free particles CompleteEra CompleteEra.

5. Today’s Matter Budget

By now, ordinary (baryonic) matter makes up only about 4.9% of the universe’s total energy content, with the rest being dark matter (~26.8%) and dark energy (~68.3%) CompleteEra CompleteEra. The small fraction of matter left after the Big Bang is all that has ever existed in the form of stars, planets, gas, and life.
In summary: After the Big Bang, there was far less matter because most of it annihilated with antimatter, and the tiny excess that survived was diluted by cosmic expansion and inflation. The matter we see today is a remnant of that minuscule surplus, forged in the first minutes and preserved through cosmic history.

When I say "matter" I'm talking about the solids, planets, moons, stars. Not the gases.

That explanation is more in line with the explanation I knew before the JWST.

But as you know, there are different theories to exactly how it all happened. They don't know much about dark energy and dark matter so it's all very speculative to say the least. It's more of a theoretical science than actual real practical science such as engineering or chemistry.

I don't like the fact that they teach this and theory of evolution in schools as if it were a fact, without even mentioning the theories of creation or intelligent design.

Scientists that believe in Creation...three minute video.

Oh I so want that book.

When I was studying engineering at university in my early 20s I assumed that all science was correct. I was an atheist despite being raised by Christian parents. It took me a while to figure out that theoretical science is not real science and that the theory of evolution is flawed.

By that time I had travelled the wrong way and was in the darkness, deep behind enemy lines. I'm greatful to God for shining the light on my path back to Him.

So now I'm very displeased on how schools teach theories like big bang and evolution as if they were a fact. They should be saying that's one theory, another theory is creationism or intelligent design, as I came to know it.

Science is very secular. Their not supposed to bring God into any hypothesis. Any explanation has to be done from a materialistic point of view. That greatly limits science and is dishonest as they ignore evidence for intelligent design.

Anyway, there are heaps of scientists from heaps of different fields that believe in intelligent design or creationism. I listened to them a lot and still do.

Well, there weren't no planets, moons, suns, before the Big Bang.
About all they are confident in regarding Dark Matter is that it exists.
I agree with you about teaching evolution as the only choice how things happen.
On the other hand the children that go to public schools come from different religions so they would have to be vague as to how creation happened
All the more reason to send your kids to a Christian school. They get a better education at Christian schools and they do not have to be around creeps and homosexual coaches.

Two scientists that believe in Creation. Short video.

I'm not too worried about the question of how old the earth is.

Genesis says in the beginning God created the heavens and earth.
Then it goes on. It doesn't necessarily say how old the earth is. There could be a very long time between that first verse and the rest of it.

So yea. The earth's age doesn't concern me so much, I'm comfortable either way and just knowing that God is the creator, the intelligent designer

I think "intelligent design" would be the scientific theory of creation that should at least be presented in public schools. There are heaps of scientists from different fields that adhere to it.

Also science should stop being so secular and allow non materialistic theories to be discussed.

I basically agree with everything else you said there.

So the question for me to scientists has always been if there was no solid matter before the big bang then where did all the stars, planets, moons come from?
Also what caused the big bang?
There must be a cause.

For me the answer is God is the cause.
God created all the matter, the material required to build the universe.

A house doesn't build itself.
A watch doesn't come from an explosion.
Life comes from life.
There must be an extremely intelligent designer.

No they believe that there was a lot of solid matter before the Big Bang and it gather compressed, heated and blew up. But again that is the question, where did all of the solid matter come from?

Suns are born from gases that gather and compress.

And I agree that God started it all and guided the emergence of life and evolution.

People tend to think that science is always right. But they need to understand that it can be wrong and how that can happen.

They come up with an idea and they look for evidence to support that idea. Sounds OK but the problem is that they tend to dismiss or ignore any evidence that opposes that idea. It becomes a conflict of interests.

It becomes worse when money is involved. When they receive funding then the last thing they want to do is loose that funding so they will fudge results and ignore any evidence that opposes their idea, hypothesis or theory.

These problems with the scientific structure ought to be taught and understood along with it's secular dependence on materialistic explanations.

Also the difference between practical science and theoretical science needs to be understood. They have very different standards of evidence.

Practical science has a much higher standard of evidence whereas theoretical science operates more on speculation and assumptions. Its closer to philosophy than practical science

Its similar to the standards of evidence in a criminal court, beyond reasonalble doubt and a civil court which operates on the balance of probability.

The nuclear bomb goes boom.
Most of the technology we have comes from science. Your football game comes from a satellite out 20,000 miles in space. Medical science, your vehicle can have 32 processors in it. Smart phones. Evolution happened, do they know everything about it....learning all the time. Things in the cosmos a lot is theory and that is the way it should happen. Theory and Quantum math test it out and keep looking, exploring, and speculating.

Scientists used to believe the universe was eternal and has always existed. Now, they concede it had a beginning. I don't have a strong opinion about the big bang, but it does fall more in line with the biblical account. There was nothing, and then there was something. The bigger question is, what caused it? Even if there wasn't a big bang, there still had to be a causation. Nothing happens in this universe without a cause. For creationists, we believe that causation was God, who is eternal and is the only one who didn't have a beginning.

I'm not saying science is always wrong.
Practical science is correct a vast majority of time. I'm in engineering so I understand that.

I'm saying science can be wrong due to conflicts of interest and money. Especially with theoretical science where the standard of evidence is much lower.
People should be aware of that instead of blindly trusting everything a "scientist" claims. Their only humans, prone to error, corruption and favouritism as well.

Do you think science is always right?

For example you've mentioned evolution a few times. TOE states that animals and plants all evolved from one common ancestor via materialistic processes. It also says that new species arise from other species via mutations. That mammals came from fish and that birds came from reptiles and that humans came from apes. I don't believe that. It's not observed it's only speculation.
Yet it's taught to kids as a fact without presenting the case for intelligent design and pulls many kids away from God as it did with me when I was young.

So being in engineering I respect science. But I'm also saying it can be wrong. It can be used to deceive people. It is being used to pull people away from God in some cases as it did with me and many others

The fossil record has been accumulating by the thousands. And it strongly suggests that evolution happened.
Now do they know everything about it? NO. Like any science that deals with vast areas and long time periods it is an evolving science.
Intelligent design, God creation and evolution can be understood together. If we add up the time in the Old Testament it appears that Adam and Eve were evicted from Paradise around 4000 BC. At that time large civilizations were already existing as well as religions. What if Adam and Eve walked out into a world full of people that were part of the evolution line of humans. The old Sunday School question, who did Cain marry in the land of Nod. This maybe why they had to have clothes before they left Paradise, those outside were wearing clothes.
Adam and Eve were probably white skinned. The lineage from Adam and Eve.....Hebrew/Israelite/Jews are white skinned. The Middle Eastern lineage are darker skinned and those from Africa are even darker skinned. Jews lineage are from the Middle East but they are white skinned.
Figurines of the goddess and snake date back further than 14,000 years.

And as far as science being wrong sometimes.....anything man does can be wrong. But science has a petty good track record.

It just a theory - the hologram theory still stands also which was done through mathematics. It has never been debunked. It has been over ten years and has yet to be proven wrong.

Just because a theory has not yet been proven wrong or been debunked either, also does not justify a case that the theory is right.

How God first created the heavens and the earth is not recorded in the scriptures, all that we are told is that first God created the heavens and the earth. The story continues with, "Then God said," six times to indicate what He intended to do on each of those days, before the seventh day on which He rested.

The Creation account tells us that God was in control and that He is still in control.

We either believe or reject God. What we chose is our choice and that choice will shape the rest of our life before we sleep to await the time for our particular outcome given during the Final judgement.

Shalom

If everything is to be taken literally why aren't people living how the bible tells us or taking care of the poor as Jesus wanted. No one follows the bible literally in this day and age.Its about wealth power and security the same things offer to Christ by the Devil which Jesus rejected - do you reject it?

Valid point. Accepting Christ is not like signing up for a book club where participating is an option. Going to church being active in church activities and standing with Christians and worshipping the Lord.
Charity with the church and outside church. There is nothing wrong with being wealthy.....poor people do not employ people. But the rich should contribute and the rest of us can give what we can to charity. Walking with Christ, if He knows you will help people, He will send some your way.

The fossil record has been accumulating by the thousands. And it strongly suggests that evolution happened.

Microevolution yes.
Small differences within a species yes
Macroevolution no.
New species coming from other species via materialistic processes no
Universal common ancestor no

Fossils can be interpreted any way someone wants them to be.

For example they say that the fossil named Lucy is a trasitional fossil between apes and humans. But that's just an assumption. Many scientists say the fossils are from an ape.

Same with Archaeopteryx fossil. Was said to be a transition from reptiles to birds. Another assumption. It is just an extinct creature. Later evidence finds birds were already around before then.

Piltdown man was thought to be a transitional fossil. Ended up being a fraud.

And what fossils support the theory of a universal common ancestor?
I don't know of any.

Yet they teach this as fact and pull many people away from God. That's my greatest concern if you wish to address it.

And as far as science being wrong sometimes.....anything man does can be wrong. But science has a petty good track record.

Practical science has a great track record.
Not so much theoretical science.

Answer this
Do you believe humans evolved from apes?
Do you believe all life evolved from a single celled common ancestor?

Practical science has a great track record.
Not so much theoretical science.

That is anything that is theory until it is proven....theory comes first.
At one time they believed the world was flat and the sun and moon orbited the earth. Over time they made observations and then they got a good look at it and knew the score.
As far as interpreting anyway they want to.....too many people looking at the fossils and the digs to have personal interpretations. The science of it is pretty advanced as far as analyzing DNA and dating is now a triangulation of different methods including the layer of soil it was found in.
As far as lucy and point that we went from "great ape" to early man? Nothing happened like a switch or instance in time. Several species existed as they evolved.
