What makes you think you do, or should, make the rules?
For myself, I was convinced by facts, and became a Christian, and moved into faith.
Is "faith" a lessor position than "evidence"? Or does "faith" offer what "evidence" cannot?

Why would you think that your argument is convincing? You have been presented with facts from post Jesus.... Christians were persecuted and killed. What makes your chosen few special? They said that they saw the risen Christ.... What about all the other Christians who said that they saw him perform miracles? Where are their testimonies? He fed a large crowd with fish and bread...
Muslims die for their beliefs and have done so for 1800 years...
People martyr themselves for a cause... Japanese Kamikaze pilots, suicide bombers, suffragettes.
If feelings are strong enough, anything is possible.

Most atheists that I've spoken to know the Bible better than most Christians.
Speaking for myself here, I've read it front to back countless times.
If you are at all interested about showing atheists the way, be honest. Don't pretend to know things that you don't. And answer questions using your own words.

Yes the Muslims martyr themselves for the promise of immediately being accepted into Paradise. And to receive 72 virgins who will continually be remade into virgins for them. Sounds like satanic deception. God is real so Satan must present his false religion.
It sounds like you have a hardened heart. That is a very dangerous place to be.
You also mocked God recently. That is also dangerous ground to be on. I wouldn't want to be in your shoes when judgment comes...and I believe it will come to you on this earth, not after you die. If your hardened heart can receive it, you better believe in the Lord and stop fighting Him. The Holy Spirit will not always strive with you...then the judgment will come.
Think about that. You teach all 72 what to do and they forget by the end of the day.

We can't say that some do not have trust

As to your second sentence re evangelical Christianity in relation to Trump...
I can't comment since I've been here a long time and don't really know what's going on anymore.
Trump is not Jesus...this I know for sure.
The problem of theodicy is THE problem of Christianity.
It has no solution.
This is what it entails:
If God is all good
and God is all powerful
Why does evil exist?
For evil to exist God would have to be either:
A being with some evil in him which he transferred to his creation.
or
A being that is not all powerful and is unable to remove evil from his creation.
Since we are told that God is all good and all powerful but evil does exist...
the problem has no solution.

It does have a solution... it will be resolved...but first Christians need to learn how to trust God despite the evidence that appears to contradict the gospel.
Evil will be dealt with. Satan's destruction is certain. Along with his demonic army. Human beings will discover in the judgment that all of God's choices and decisions, regarding how He dealt with every individual born on this planet, was fair, just, merciful, gracious, and loving. Because that is Who God is.
I'm not mocking, I'm simply stating a fact. If I'm going to be judged before I die, God needs to get on with it... Going off the average life expectancy of men I have about 20 years left if I'm lucky.
Are you expecting judgement within that timeframe?
My heart like everyone else's is a blood pumping organ, it's funny how you see it as something else that can be hardened.... Heart transplants happen, they're just part of the human machinery.
