Tit 2:14 Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works.
Have you been redeemed by the blood of Christ?
If not, then you are still dead in your sins, and His death on the cross has been taken in vain.
He gave Himself for us, a spotless sin offering, (Hebrews 9-14) sent to redeem, or (release from bondage) from the sins that ensnare us.
This is a constant state of real redemption, where the rebellious heart has been destroyed,(Galatians 2;20) as well as the works of the devil in your life,(1 JN 3-8) it’s not a revolving door of sin repent, sin repent, meaning porn repent, get drunk repent, lie, cheat and steal repent, etc., no it’s a total renovation of the soul, purified by Christ, now zealous,(passionate) for all good works, which equates to a holy and separate life, dead to sin, alive to God, hungering and thirsting for righteousness.(Romans ch 6).
The work of Christ, His redeeming power, through His shed blood, made a way for us to come out of the dark, and into His light! (Acts 26-18) Where going back to the pig pen is not an option, (Hebrews 6-4, 10-26) since He has now given you His spirit (Acts 5-32) to lead and strengthen you into a powerful life of freedom from the bondages of sin and the world. But if you still struggle with these type of sins, then I would check your heart to see if you have truly been redeemed, and set free! (Romans 6-16).
