Isaiah 4:3 And it shall come to pass, that he that is left in Zion, and he that remaineth in Jerusalem, shall be called holy, even every one that is written among the living in Jerusalem:

Joel 2:32 And everyone who calls on the name of the LORD will be saved; for on Mount Zion and in Jerusalem there will be deliverance, as the LORD has said, even among the survivors
whom the LORD calls.

Isaiah 31:4
This is what the LORD says to me: “As a lion growls, a great lion over its prey— and though a whole band of shepherds is called together against it, it is not frightened by their shouts or disturbed by their clamor— so the LORD Almighty will come down to do battle on Mount Zion and on its heights.

2 Kings 19:31
For out of Jerusalem will come a remnant, and out of Mount Zion a band of survivors. “The zeal of the LORD Almighty will accomplish this.

2.Isaiah 37:32
For out of Jerusalem will come a remnant, and out of Mount Zion a band of survivors. The zeal of the LORD Almighty will accomplish this.

God has big plans for Zion.

He even has plans to drop by himself one day.

Do a careful study on Zion, the Holy Hill. God has always said it it his, and his alone.

Keep an eye on Israel folks. Because God sure does.

Martin.

Jeremiah 33: 14 “‘The days are coming,’ declares the LORD, ‘when I will fulfill the good promise I made to the people of Israel and Judah.

15 “‘In those days and at that time
I will make a righteous Branch sprout from David’s line;
he will do what is just and right in the land.
16 In those days Judah will be saved
and Jerusalem will live in safety.
This is the name by which it[c] will be called:
The LORD Our Righteous Savior.’

Zechariah 1:14
Then the angel who was speaking to me said, “Proclaim this word: This is what the LORD Almighty says: ‘I am very jealous for Jerusalem and Zion,

Hello TexUs,

Based on these passages alone, I would be interested in hearing what message you think God is trying to convey through these prophets?

I think each one is speaking about something different which is why I was asking you to just state what direction you were going with this.

Salvation, in accepting Christ's sacrifice, is a spiritual requirement to achieve eternal life. However, God, though these OT prophets is not talking about spiritual salvation but rather claiming that He is Jealous for a physical place (Mount Zion in Jerusalem) and will protect this physical place and the inhabitants thereof.

The scriptures tell us that there will be Christians physically alive at Christ's advent. I believe that God is telling us, in these and other OT passages, that Mount Zion in Jerusalem is the place-of-safety which he its going to physically protect (and it's inhabitants) for the duration of the GT.

It seems your support for this stems from the passage in Jeremiah, yes?

In those days and at that time
I will make a righteous Branch sprout from David’s line;
he will do what is just and right in the land.
In those days Judah will be saved
and Jerusalem will live in safety.
This is the name by which it will be called:
The LORD Our Righteous Savior.’

The first part speaks of Christ, yes? If "those days" were during that generation, then why do you suddenly consider the second "in those days" to be 2,000+ years future?
