What are the two witnesses doing with the prostitute?

Well, I guess it depends how you look at it. We were all "killed" in the sense that our eternal life was taken from us (and when I say "us" I mean humanity in general). On the other hand, perhaps it refers only to those who died before the resurrection, in which case all of those people were...

What are the two witnesses doing with the prostitute?

All those things happened in 70 AD. Scary time.

What are the two witnesses doing with the prostitute?

100%. All the references are clear, and tie things together nicely. It seems so obvious now, but there was a time when I too was confused about the harlot. I don't know why it's so hard to see. p.s. I'm not sure why but this board is replacing my word "c o n f u s e d" with an emoji. Is...

What are the two witnesses doing with the prostitute?

That is incorrect. All of Revelation was fulfilled in the first century AD. Although, the new Jerusalem is certainly not a distant memory, the old Jerusalem is.

What are the two witnesses doing with the prostitute?

That's not how it works. I believe the first resurrection refers not to people coming out of their graves, but it refers to the returning of eternal life, which was taken from us in the garden. And so, yes, I was resurrected (given eternal life) back in 70 AD. Or maybe it was when Jesus was...

What are the two witnesses doing with the prostitute?

Yes. Although God has long since divorced her, for her adultery, so she's just a distant memory.

What are the two witnesses doing with the prostitute?

Yes, I believe that. I believe we were all resurrected at that time. Prior to that time, the dead "slept in the earth". Now, we live forever. Nope. Do you have any proof that Jesus performed miracles? Didn't think so.

What are the two witnesses doing with the prostitute?

The prostitute is of course Jerusalem, who was supposed to be the bride of Christ, but she prostituted herself out to idolatry. The entire chapter of Ezekiel 16 is devoted to describing Jerusalem as the adulterous wife. It only makes sense that the whore is she who was supposed to be loyal to...

What are the two witnesses doing with the prostitute?

It's an interesting theory, but I think it's more likely that the two witnesses were Ananus ben Ananus and Jesus ben Gamaliel, two Jewish high priests who were living in Jerusalem at the time of the Roman assault in 70 AD. Both tried to peacefully prevent the Udemian assault upon Jerusalem, and...

    A God of Hate

Interesting thoughts. I too recently came to understand that Elohim is plural, and Yahweh singular, meaning that Yahweh is one of the gods. So, who are these other gods?

The changing perception of hell. - How do you define it?

Matthew 25:46 (YLT) And these shall go away to punishment age-during, but the righteous to life age-during. Earlier in that same chapter, and as part of that same parable, Jesus says this: Then shall he say also to those on the left hand, Go ye from me, the cursed, to the fire, the age-during...

The changing perception of hell. - How do you define it?

That's quite the accusation there, telling me that I'm not here to learn and that I'm interested in being right, more than knowing the truth. You must really think you know me.

The changing perception of hell. - How do you define it?

That's not an argument. That's an attack. If you think my point is not valid, show me your evidence.

Where does Jesus tell us about hell?

The changing perception of hell. - How do you define it?

That's a very misleading paraphrasing of scripture. That phrase is from a parable and refers to those left out of the kingdom. It doesn't specifically say that it refers to those in "hell". So, you're making the leap that "hell" = "outside the kingdom", and that would need to first be...

The changing perception of hell. - How do you define it?

I'm not even sure the Bible teaches the concept of hell at all. This is what happens when the translators take liberties and have agendas beyond translation, and they use the word "hell" when speaking of a wicked man dying, but the word "grave" when speaking of a righteous man dying. That kind...

Be Warned: Revelation 20 Is Not... A Current Reality

Step 1: Learn the difference between "wrong" and "lying". Step 2: Apologize to me for calling me a liar. Step 3: Then we can talk.
