Why its important to keep the Sabbath

No one can ever kill God.

If we forget God through the Satanic machinations of evil empires God still reigns.

All that exists will insure wherever we look we shall never be able to forget God created that.


Every moment, every breath, reminds us God is there. And we are too because God is there.

Those who want to erase God from the landscape of America fail at the mere thought of putting in that effort.

And when they pass on, some sooner than later, they shall know God was always there.

If America one day falls, as all empires and nations eventually do, God shall not.

And if from the shadows and ashes of our demise a whisper escapes so to call out one last time, God bless America!

We know because we have been blessed to know. It is a GIFT. This knowing God. This is Life Eternal, to Know Thee and They Son.
We don't realize how much in this day and age we TRULY are blessed to know Him.
People in the past put their lives on the line for Him and their faith in God.
People today in some countries put their lives on the line for Him and their faith.

Our day is near. Even now we are being mocked and persecuted, even though not in a physical sense, our morals and principles, the very foundations which we stand are being shook.
They put religious people on the terrorist list for crying out loud. How much redder the sky have to get before you can tell the time?

Either we're going to come into some great awakening, when people will come back to their senses. Or, this world going is down in a lot of sorrow and pain.

We are blessed.

Not really.

I was thinking about the Sabbath as a closet that God would enter into. Like behind the veil.
Sometimes I understand it as a sign of death or sacrifice. Made me think of Melchizadek. What role did he play as High Priest to the Lord?

King of Peace.

At the end of 6 days there is an end, or a pause.. before the first day begins again.
Which made me think of the silence in heaven for the space of hafl an hour.
What did God do on the seventh day?

What are we supposed to observe, do , remember, about this day?
How did God keep it?

It says that the lamb of God was sacrificed from the foundation of the world.
Jesus was crucified on the 6th day and died. He "rested" , "slept" , on the seventh, and on the 8th day Man was cut off from the garden.
The first day and the eigth day are the same.
The eighth day Israel lost it's predominance, it's kingdom, and it was given to the Gentiles.
This is also the first day a new heaven and a new earth would begin. Not physical but spiritual beginnings.

This is the kingdom our spirit is residing in, even though we are living in a very carnal and corrupted world.
Our heart is not invested in the world but in God's Kingdom and His righteousness.
He is our King. He is our High Priest.
He is our Peace.

Because we are not invested in the carnal world around us, meaning our hearts and thoughts are opposed to what we see happening, our spirits are vexed like Lot. But are witnessing the end of this age. And when Justice comes we won't have to ask why bcause we already know why, we see it. And it is growing daily. Darkness is coming, or perhaps a great Light.
That decision is in God's hands.

If I shut up heaven that there be no rain, or if I command the locusts to devour the land, or if I send pestilence among my people;

I'm curious, what did God say He did on the seventh day?

So true….it was this way right from the beginning…..what Eve was given, was suggested to be ‘not enough’…..there was more that God was keeping from them….what power ‘suggestion’ has! And what selfishness humans can exhibit given the opportunity for self interest to dominate their thinking. Today all we see is self interest in every way imaginable. (1 John 5:19)

Evolution is a great example of how satan makes God seen like an insignificant impediment to superior scientific knowledge….but on thorough investigation you can see quite clearly in their own literature promoting the evolutionary process, that it is based on speculation, suggestion and “scientific” guesswork. There is not a single shred of solid evidence that organic evolution is even possible, let alone accomplished all that creation itself tells them about an all wise, masterful and intelligent Creator. Throwing billions of years at creation doesn’t alter the mechanics….or eliminate the mechanic.

The gender issue goes right to the heart of God’s first purpose to “fill the world” with human children, produced in the natural way…..what better way to insult God than by reducing the miracle of conception and childbirth…..undermining marriage and what it was intended for?

Strangely, people will put their lives on the line for their government, and their nation’s interests….but not for God. The clergy of Christendom have curried favor with the world by supporting their wars and conflicts, but it does not make them “friends with God”. (James 4:4) They have somehow been misled into believing that patriotism and Christianity are somehow compatible. As long as you kill “for God and country”.

They will sacrifice themselves for the selfish pursuits of their corrupt governments, and even kill innocent women and children as “collateral damage” in order to achieve their nation’s goals…but they will not sacrifice their lives in service to their Creator, who sacrificed so much for them.

Its right under people’s noses, and yet there is this “blindness”….
”If, in fact, the good news we declare is veiled, it is veiled among those who are perishing, 4 among whom the god of this system of things has blinded the minds of the unbelievers, so that the illumination of the glorious good news about the Christ, who is the image of God, might not shine through.” (2 Cor 4:3-4)

Interestingly, only the minds of “unbelievers” are blinded….but even ‘believers’ can be fooled into thinking they are disciples of Christ by being misled by the devil’s counterfeit “Christianity”…..which dropped into the world quite quickly once the apostles passed away….the “weeds” were planted by the devil and they grew to take over the whole field, as Jesus said they would.

Either we're going to come into some great awakening, when people will come back to their senses. Or, this world going is down in a lot of sorrow and pain.

There will be no “great awakening” other than what has already taken place. There is a reason why “few” will be found on the cramped and narrow road to life…(Matt 7:13-14)
Those offering their excuses to Jesus come the judgment, will be horrified by his rejection. (Matt 7:21-23)

We are blessed.

True…..the truth is a blessing, but like all ‘hidden treasure’, it requires some digging to find it. Most people don’t want to put in the effort…they just want to be spoon fed and never progress past the “milk of the word”. They just accept what they are told and never do their own research…

It is all prophesied in God’s word…as far back as the book of Daniel, written some 500 years before the birth of Christ. Daniel wrote about the march of world powers beginning with Babylon and ending in the world powers that exist today. The USA and it’s allies, would be opposed to Russia and her allies, in this “time of the end”. Two power hungry forces vying for supremacy.

No human politician, no matter how noble his intentions, will avert the coming of globalization and the slavery to which all on this earth will be subjected. Without “the mark of the beast”, life will be extremely difficult for those who fail to conform with its agenda.

We saw this during the pan-demic…..the power to enforce the will of government on those who in exercising their freedom of choice, were targeted as a danger to society, when in fact the only danger to society was conforming to their will and not being able to exercise your own conscience and right of choice.

The demo-cracy that people support is a hollow shell…the rights of the people can be withdrawn at any time they say, for whatever reason they concoct. “The whole world is lying in the power of the wicked one” (1 John 5:19)…so what part of the world and its governance is missing here? Why did Jesus tell us to “no part” of this world? (John 17:16) Because no political entity is not influenced by the wicked one, who often disguises himself as “an angel of light”…..who does that leave to trust? Only God, his son and his word…..

The shift to digital currency will give them more power than we can imagine.…and nothing will stop the world from descending into what the devil will accomplish as his final act of defiance. He is currently confined to this earth, having been evicted from heaven with his minions. (Rev12:7-12) We have to be prepared for what is coming, but in ways that will fortify our faith, not just our lives, which will be in God’s hands as we navigate the harsh ‘wilderness’ that we are entering. God will see his people through this time of testing…..only those who “endure to the end will be saved”. (Matt 24:13)

This is not our fight…but the final showdown between God and his adversary…..we are the hostages and the ransom has been paid. The kidnapper will be dealt with, and then we can go “home” to where God meant us to live in the first place….in a beautiful paradise on earth, with no suffering sickness or pain to spoil our enjoyment of life. (Rev 21:2-4)

All who are granted citizenship under the rule of God’s kingdom will have been tested as to fitness first…..no rebel will ever rear their head again in a “new earth” governed by a “new heaven”…..the best government that the human race has ever had…..free from corruption, and with only man’s best interests at heart in its operation. That is really something to look forward to….

Jesus did what His Father did. He gave them rest.
He lifted their burdens. He healed the sick, gave sight to the blind, made the lame walk, pulling them out of the pit that they had fallen into.
He gave them faith. And those that recieved him, recieved him with gladness.
He fed them with manna from heaven and made them drink of the water of life. He clothed them in his own righteousness.
And he had mercy on us and gave us grace and forgiveness.
God created all these things from the foundation of the world. He set them in motion and then watched.
Man put his hand to it and marred it. Polluted it, with our own ways.
Jesus came to set it right. And to put us back on the right path.
If he had not come and brought us light, we would be in darkness still.

What is the seventh day? It is a day of observation. God watched while man was given rulership and dominion over the creation God had given to man. We are told to observe, we are told to watch, we are told to wait patiently upon the Lord.
Not to go out into the world seeking our own, but giving what God gave us freely to give to others.

And this is what Jesus did. God watched and Jesus did the works his father gave him to do.
To love God and to love one another.
This is our commision. This is our duty.
Now Jesus is watching to see what we will do.

We are to give others rest. We are to be the bearers of giving to others what has been freely given to us.
We are God's Sabbath, Just as Jesus is the embodiment of God's Sabbath.
A day of giving, a day of compassion, a day of healing and sharing bread and water to the thirsty and comfort to those who mourn.
This day is not an ordinary day. It is a way of life.

The day is the age in which we are living in. It is To Day.

And the Jewish-Christians were attempting to mix the Old Covenant with the New Covenant. Which is something that does not work. Ask someone that is advocating observing the Sabbath how they do it? Really, all we have for the Genesis version of the Sabbath is a day of rest….Physical rest and cessation of labor. How to keep it holy is not explained. So what they are suggesting is just wing it and they can make up anything from there.

The Mosaic Law addresses the Sabbath and it is very restrictive which includes death penalties. Death penalties that were mandatory. Meaning you break the Sabbath Laws if you do not kill those that break them. Are we going to kill people? Or are we just back to winging it.

It is all irrelevant because Christians are in the New Covenant with God and the Old Covenant Laws do not pertain to Christians. Still the judaizers persist.
Are they suggesting two days of rest?
Are they suggesting ignoring the Lord’s Day on Sunday?
Are they suggesting abandoning the New Covenant in favor of the Old Covenant?
Are we just going to mix the Old Covenant with the New Covenant and just wing it as we feel like?

Where is the dividing line? Are we going to look to the Old Testament for morals and customs? Are we going to go to church and sacrifice animals? Are we going to make a profit selling our daughters as sex slaves? Are we going to practice polygamy? Are we going to have slaves? And so the ruling at the council at Jerusalem did not include the requirement to keep the Jewish Saturday Sabbath. Acts 15

So today the Christian day of worship is Sunday, a day of more rest without the restrictions of the Mosaic Law….we can cook dinners and tend our cattle and feed our pets and regulate the temperature in our house and drive to church. And no one gets killed for changing a flat tire.
Really it comes down to, if you have this fetish for the Old Covenant, give up salvation and convert to Judaism.

I was thinking about the Sabbath as a closet that God would enter into. Like behind the veil.
Sometimes I understand it as a sign of death or sacrifice.

Wonderful thought. . . and a wonderful Scripture foretelling exactly THIS thought of yours

about man's creation and fall "as a sign of death" in Genesis 3:1-7 on the Sixth Day; and

about God's "entering into the closet", "in the evening cool of day" of the next and Seventh Day in Genesis 3:8; and

about "the Sabbath as a closet" for the time being or Hiding Place of Safety in the Garden, with the Voice of "God, CALLING, Adam, where are you?" in Genesis 3:9; and further

about 'Sacrifice' or atonement made for reconciliation and "CLOTHES" of RIGHTEOUSNESS, RESURRECTION AND LIFE.

They can find scriptures that show that people were observing the Sabbath during Christ’s ministry because they were still in the Old Covenant with God. There is no surprise there.

And the Jewish-Christians were attempting to mix the Old Covenant with the New Covenant. Which is something that does not work. Ask someone that is advocating observing the Sabbath how they do it? Really, all we have for the Genesis version of the Sabbath is a day of rest….Physical rest and cessation of labor. How to keep it holy is not explained. So what they are suggesting is just wing it and they can make up anything from there.

BUT, for absolutely sure was <there> no <transitional period ... sometime in the 1st century that shifted to the Lord’s day on Sunday>, nor, for absolutely sure, was <there> any <period particularly when (or <where>) sometime in the 1st century the Christian ministry shifted to the Gentiles and the Jewish-Christian sect died out.> We all know that, for historical fact. So what here (and nowhere later) must be lifted out and put in proper perspective, is the Grailhunter's own presumed, 'fact', that <There was in fact a transitional period where the Sabbath was the only holy day of the week, but sometime in the 1st century that shifted to the Lord’s day>. Grailhunter in fact supplements his own drawn 'fact' with, stating as fact, in the <first century the Sabbath was the only holy day of the week> and therefore it, the Sabbath, had to have been the-Lord’s-Day-on-the-Sabbath-which sometime somewhere in the 1st century shifted to the Lord’s Day on SABBATH BY THE RESURRECTION OF CHRIST JESUS ON IT.

That, the Jews from the nature of the case, could never have gone along with.
