The Gospel is actually good news and here is why.

    1. That's because Jesus never sinned. He bore our sin that we would not be eternally separated from God. 2. Many legally pay another's fine in today's court system. 3. The stipulation to be declared righteous (justified) is faith in Jesus, the One who bore the penalty for our sin. 4. God's grace...

It is after all…the ‘crux’ of our existence:)

The Gospel is actually good news and here is why.

I suppose you’ll deny this pertains to Jesus… Isaiah 53:4-5 KJV [4] Surely he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted. [5] But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our...

The Gospel is actually good news and here is why.

Let me clarify a bit... 1 Corinthians 4:3-4 (NASB) But to me it is a very small thing that I may be examined by you, or by any human court; in fact, I do not even examine myself. For I am conscious of nothing against myself, yet I am not by this acquitted; but the one who examines me is the Lord.

Actually Paul put his money where his writing was...is yours? 2 Corinthians 11:23-28 (NASB) Are they servants of Christ?--I speak as if insane--I more so; in far more labors, in far more imprisonments, beaten times without number, often in danger of death. Five times I received from the Jews...

Exactly, and saved sinners should be sharing that great news with others rather than criticize those who do.

That is judging their teaching, not their faith.

The OP has nothing to do with proving our faith to others (as James speaks of), but it has everything to do with the Gospel (what Christ has done for our salvation). We offer nothing but our sinfulness.

I meant (read again) they do not need to prove themselves to others. God is the Judge of one's faith.

God is the judge of that. Are we fruit inspectors, especially of others?

    What is grace?

    That was my point. Zero.

    What is grace?

I would add, before we can exercise saving faith we must be convicted of ourselves as sinners, and before we can truly receive Jesus, He must open our eyes to who He is… Matthew 16:17 KJV [17] And Jesus answered and said unto him, Blessed art thou, Simon Bar-jona: for flesh and blood hath not...

    Protestantism is a sin....

While we are at it, I also asked…”Could you mention a few of those 'lies' that touch on justification?”

    Lets Define "Works"

Romans 5:18-19 (KJV) Therefore as by the offence of one judgment came upon all men to condemnation; even so by the righteousness of one the free gift came upon all men unto justification of life. For as by one man's disobedience many were made sinners, so by the obedience of one shall many be...

Believers don't need to prove their faith is genuine. God knows those who are His. (2Tim 2.19) The Book of Galatians is a good example where law was trying to be added to the Gospel.

I gave Scripture backing for my claims, it would be appreciated if you reciprocated. 1 Peter 2:24 (KJV) Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed.

Tired of the Gospel being turned into a system of law that only drags us down, robs us of joy and stifles our love for the One who died for us? Tired of being rerouted back to the law in order to be sanctified or to prove that your faith is genuine? The Gospel is actually good news and here...

    What do Calvinists believe?

This all gets into their interdenominational debate between Infralapsarianism and Supralapsarianism and I agree, it goes beyond Scripture (violating their stance on Sola Scriptura) and running into deep speculation. But then of course Arminians have their crazy beliefs too.

What and when is the rapture. Part 2

I wasn't disappointed with whatever it was that I didn't read. I just don't like being machine gunned at.
