LDS Christian believe that sinning is what makes a person a sinner. Not simply being born. Article of Faith #2: "2 We believe that men will be punished for their own sins, and not for Adam’s transgression." Articles of Faith 1 No one gets to Heaven because of their works.

Already addressed:

Coming to the Lord, surrendering your sins, and accepting Hm is the most important thing a person can do. But, that one moment not the only thing involved in being His disciple. And we shouldn't put so much focus on that moment as the never talk about rest of the Christian life.
