There is no law "of" Christ as opposed to the law of God (except in Galatians 6:2). Paul said he was under the law "to" Christ, in 1 Corinthians 9:21.

I think that I still have to disagree with you, @101G, and say that to take part and partake are one and the same thing...they mean the same thing....while it seems that you almost base your entire doctrine on there being a difference between the two.

I am certainly all for the understanding that we are eternally secure in Christ; but that this is dependent on what kind of faith we have.
