It's not my fault you don't understand baptism

I had a period of several years where I was terribly depressed. It turned out to be a side-effect of the allergy medicine I was taking. I suspect a lot of mental problems could be solved with proper diet and exercise (not that I exactly do those lol), or by reducing intake of medications.

I don't care what the Catholic church says in their catechism. Excommunication is something made-up by the Roman Catholic Church. A threat without substantial backing. What God does, man cannot undo. Not even in God's name.

Me too. They taught Dutch Reformed theology at mine. They envisioned a pretty horrible God who saved some people and damned others for no particularly good reason. I say that to say this... perhaps there's a bit more to Christianity than just what they taught you in school. There was for me.

I agree. But Job is a monaltrist - he believes in multiple gods, though he only worships The One. He holds other gods in contempt... but he still believes they exist. That doesn't mean it was originally a Hebrew book.
