    The Pre-Trib Rapture

Partial rapturism can lead easily to self-justification by works, because it in effect says the efficacy of the work of Christ is supposedly not enough...

    The Pre-Trib Rapture

@Mantis As well as asking the question 'What' is the rapture? and 'When' is it? there is also another question: 'Who' is the rapture for? If this is remembered (and there are lots of words out there focusing exclusively on the 'What?' and 'When'? aspects), then the relevance of 1 Corinthians...

It’s Not for Us to Know When; So Be Ready = Isaiah 45; 22-23, Mark 13; 32-33, Acts 1; 7

I think the last quote is talking about the Rapture; while the Matthew quote seems from the context to be about Tribulation saints.

Faith-based tattoo: as a result of one, did you ever talk with someone? (Poll included)

@Abigail You're indeed right that before the machine ever pumps into the skin, the person needs to be "ready". Being "ready" is all about individual responsibility. What is perhaps significant is that for those who reach the age of 18, the weeks and months and years subsequent to the big 18...

Jesus wants personal relationship with us.

This is what faith is all about. Impersonal ideas are not the point and they do not save and transform. John 3.16.

How Does The Blood Of Christ Stop Us From Sinning?

@Mantis I love 1 John 2.1: "My little children, these things write I unto you, that ye sin not. And if any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous".

    “Welcome Holy Spirit”

@Pearl Acts 2.42 and the activities in which the early believers continued steadfastly can be a good guide....

    “Welcome Holy Spirit”

@Pearl Romans 8 indeed reminds us that all true believers in the Lord Jesus are indwelt by the Holy Spirit: "But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his." (Romans 8.9).
