    "The word was a god"?

Trinitarians tend to agree that there is a trinity. :D

    "The word was a god"?

I've already explained what is wrong with this. Because it is wrong, I dismiss it without addressing it. How about I copy and paste a bunch of websites and expect you to address it point by point and declare victory until you do? Not very friendly or conversational, right? :p

God's Personal Name & New World Translation

"Am" is a form of the verb "to be," to exist. "I" is a pronoun, not a personal name. I think you know that is not God's name but embrace making false connections to what Jesus said.

What benefit does it produce to make Jesus God

He is 100% man. You got that right. However, John 1 says nothing about Jesus being God. It's just not there no matter how many times you assert it.

What benefit does it produce to make Jesus God

Yes the question is far but my point is not harsh. It is rude (if not harsh) to sweep aside a question and ask one of your own. Why not answer the OP's question AND THEN pose one of your own? That seems more conversational.

    John 8:24, 28, 58 - Jesus Christ IS YHWH

No sir! Don't be intellectually dishonest. The text does not say 'the Father' but God in his wholeness, in his unitarian nature. The text says God - in his wholeness, in his unitarian nature - is not under Jesus' authority. And the text does not say God is not under Jesus' authority but an...

What benefit does it produce to make Jesus God

4-7 but possibly 11: God the Father God the HS God the son, in his divine nature. God the son, in his human nature. S1 S2 S3 S4 S5 S6 S7, the 7 Spirits of God referenced in Revelations. God of Grace God of Love God of Mercy God of Justice THE LORD OF HEAVEN’S ARMIES. I may have missed a...

    John 8:24, 28, 58 - Jesus Christ IS YHWH

See above comments above regarding 1 Cor 15:23-28.

    John 8:24, 28, 58 - Jesus Christ IS YHWH

Are you ignoring the explicit Scripture of 1 Cor 15:23-28 the makes God - in his wholeness, in his unitarian nature - an exception to who is under Jesus’ authority? It is precisely such juxtapositions of Jesus from God - in his wholeness, in his unitarian nature that repeatedly make clear they...

    John 8:24, 28, 58 - Jesus Christ IS YHWH

1 COR 15:28 makes explicitly clear that when it says every thing under Jesus, God is the exception. God = YHWH. The meaning of lord is master, someone you hold allegience to. There are dozens of lords in Scripture but only one true God, Jesus' God.

    John 8:24, 28, 58 - Jesus Christ IS YHWH

Here is the problem. One does not define equality if 2 things are equal in 1 way but in every way. Only YHWH, the Father, is God. Only Jesus is THE Son of God, resurrected into a glorified body so far. The Father never dies. Jesus died. Not equal.

    John 8:24, 28, 58 - Jesus Christ IS YHWH

Totally foolish interpretation. Just because we honor people does not mean we do not also honor God. For instance, we have (had) holiday's for Washington, Lincoln, Columbus and MLK Jr. This does not make them God.

    "The word was a god"?

Why bother coming to a forum to only copy and paste?

    John 8:24, 28, 58 - Jesus Christ IS YHWH

No. You keep demanding dubious, trintarian tactic of imposing your doctrine onto unitarian text. Not the same thing.

    "The word was a god"?

Where does the presumption come from that one is obligated to deny worship for himself? The Christian claim that only God is worshipped is totally false. Daniel, David and Nebachanzer were all worshipped without denying it. No one claims that means they are God.

What benefit does it produce to make Jesus God

I agree with you (althugh there is some evidence the OT simply referred to a young women). Despite being raised a Catholic, I could not accept 'The Immaculate Conception' did not apply to Jesus but to Mary. This has no Biblical support but it is clear that Jesus' conception was immaculate. :)

    John 8:24, 28, 58 - Jesus Christ IS YHWH

Yet, you continue to draw ludicrous conclusions while denying there actually is no Scripture that states what you claim. There is no Scripture that states 'Jesus Christ IS YHWH' or 'Jesus is eternally Almighty God.' The simple reason for this is because Jesus is not anyone but a servant of YHWH...

    "The word was a god"?

Not sure there was a question. Elohim is a word that means 'heavenly being.' It may or may not pertain to the sole Creator (singular) as it could refer to angels (plural).

    John 8:24, 28, 58 - Jesus Christ IS YHWH

It is not a belief that the 'godhead' is not in Scripture. Sure, sure, it is in a bad trinitarian translation but I think your doctrine ought to be able to stand on what is true and such posts show what a house of cards doctrine it is.

    "The word was a god"?

You are fond of your copy and pasting of websites in place of discussion and debate. Is "I am the only one and there is no other" singular or plural?
