    A Curious Question For Non-Trinitarians

That's obviously not true as a deity is immortal and Jesus died.

Is it ever ok to lie?

Really? Inserting words into Scripture violates Mark 7:13. What a <period of time> seems like does not alter what that <period of time> is. Do you suppose Adam and Eve took God's words to mean they die ~900 years later?

Is it ever ok to lie?

He did authorize the lying by the Spirit, correct?

Who/What is Jesus if not God?

Same post in the other thread. Deja by all over again. You are equating angels of God with servants of men to rationalize the man-is-god thesis?! Wow. I have servants. Does that make me God?

Is it ever ok to lie?

Discernment. Only those who are on milk might be uncomfortable with it, who cling to an idealistic and false notion that God never lies. God is portrayed in Scripture as a warrior, sometimes called The LORD of Heaven's Armies. Who did God endorse a lie to? Not his beloved children, who are us...

Is it ever ok to lie?

Lying is a tool in warfare and make no mistake, we are in spiritual warfare. It is OK to like when it is the will of God - and there are many Scriptural examples. The midwives in Moses day lied and were honored by God to spare the slaughter of baby boys. The with Rahab as another already pointed...

Who/What is Jesus if not God?

What belittling. No one who is anointed by God and has God's Spirit is just a man.

Jesus is either God or is not God: There is no 'In Between'

Probably not true of anyone who posts here, Robert. I knew that was where you were headed; you're question aimed at putting me on the defensive. This way, I personally have to defend myself instead of you having to defend your ant-Scriptural doctrine.

My Life Was Just a Loaf of Bread

Not gracious of you. Whenever I see a drowning man, I throw him a life preserver. I don't take that opportunity to 'draw him out;' by asking him pop quizzes on theory. There is a time for every season. This is not the time. Where is your concern with him being low in Spirit, reaching out to a...

Jesus is either God or is not God: There is no 'In Between'

I don't think you have. What post answered my question? I'm not going to dignify petulance with a response.

My Life Was Just a Loaf of Bread

Shameful. No need to badger the poor man. He prays. To who? To Elohim. Who's that? Lord of Hosts. Isn't that ... Just accept his answer. He is praying and encourage him to continue and join in, pray for him and ask what else you can do to help. If you want to explore the relationship between...

Jesus is either God or is not God: There is no 'In Between'

I think you are confusing deity with divinity. Angels are divine, in that they are 'of God.' Jesus, being the Son is also 'of God.' But neither are a deity. How many times does YHWH have to say he alone is our God? You do recognize that YHWH said this, right?

Jesus is either God or is not God: There is no 'In Between'

Again, you are simply ignoring or denying the hierarchy of 1 COR 11:3. There is an in between and his name is Jesus. See 1 Timothy 2:5 (NLT) There is one God and one Mediator who can reconcile God and humanity—the man Christ Jesus. You are speaking contrary to Scripture at every post.

Jesus is either God or is not God: There is no 'In Between'

Including, 1st and foremost, his son. Fathers become so by creating sons (and daughters). There is absolutely nothing confusing about it.

Jesus is either God or is not God: There is no 'In Between'

Robert you cannot answer a question with a question. What is the answer to the question of what specifically confuses you about Jesus not being God?

LOL The softball‘s keep coming for me to knock out of the park with the power of the Spirit of God!!!

Jesus is either God or is not God: There is no 'In Between'

Not sure why this is confusing. Scripture says that all glory goes to God and that Jesus, the Son of God, Liberating King, Savior of the world and our master (lord) is God's servant. Acts 3:13. Years ago I read a book about the real George Washington. At the end, the author pointed out that he...
