I think it's a geographical thing. In some areas and countries, it's a very widespread custom. In others it's not. I don't see anything wrong with it, if it is the custom. Fine if they don't do it; fine if they do.

For a young Christian man or woman, getting tattooed clearly and tastefully with a well planned faith based design can be among the most memorable and encouraging of events.
