I do believe the indwelling of the Spirit comes by God's grace with the new birth. (Although I don't buy the argument that so called tongues are initial evidence of faith.)

The coming of the Spirit of Christ happens at the new birth (John 3).

In the new birth (John 3) the Lord Jesus comes. Romans 8.9 says, "if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of His".

Some Christians are convicted to use a tattoo (Bible ref. or quote) as a witness tool, anyway.

Hey, no problem; often ink and ear piercings, etc. are discussed together.

My wife and I talked to a young lady with the whole of John 3.16 tattooed on her wrist area; it was her favorite Bible verse, she told us. I wouldn't call that 'filth' (and to be fair you didn't say so about this example).
