Poll: Best age for first tattoo?

Well, I'm sure this is true, and your niece is also likely to know more than most ppl would, if she herself has inked any of them, right? From being a overwhelmingly male thing to do years ago (sailors, bikers), it's now become a highly womanly thing (among so many walks of life) to do to...

What does having the 'Mind of Christ' mean?

John 3.16: 'God so loved the world, that...'

What does having the 'Mind of Christ' mean?

Well, Acts tells us: 'God now commandeth all men everywhere to repent'.

The Church The Papacy Says You Should Join

My understanding is that Biblical purgatory - the place where sins were purged - happened in full at the Cross: Hebrews 1: "He ... by Himself purged our sins" and is now seated at the right hand of God.

Poll: Best age for first tattoo?

Seems like she's dedicated to it, then; and of course it's a profession that has opened right up for women in a big way, compared with how it was years ago.

    What makes you right?

Indeed, the doctrine of the Trinity is Scriptural.

What does having the 'Mind of Christ' mean?

But surely the Scriptures are sufficient in all revelation that God intends us to know?

    The Two Babylons

I reckon that "It is finished" is both what was said and done, and gloriously so. :)

What does having the 'Mind of Christ' mean?

Outward testimony from God's Word together with strong, inward conviction: these two elements are important. So could you expand also on the purpose of your question?

Poll: Best age for first tattoo?

YW; and I take it that it's not something that you would do yourself - to use as a witness tool - and you probably wouldn't like it either if Mrs. JohnPaul - if there is a Mrs. JohnPaul - wanted to do it; but anyway on some subjects it's likely that among Christians there is likely to be a...

Poll: Best age for first tattoo?

@JohnPaul : Hey, no problem; my comment was really about how we are to understand the Biblical terminology in its context. I guess my general observation was that the young lady who willingly received her favorite Bible verse - John 3.16 in full - onto her wrist area, causing ppl to talk about...

Has Jesus come in the spirit?

I don't understand your point, Sir. John 19.25 says: “For I know that my redeemer liveth, and that he shall stand at the latter day upon the earth:”

Has Jesus come in the spirit?

Good reference to the passage in John 14, indeed.

Poll: Best age for first tattoo?

PS: The context of the 1 Cor. 3 passage quoted is the defilement of fornication; it really would be a big stretch to apply it to Bible verse tattoos.

Has Jesus come in the spirit?

He said, "If I go, I will come again and receive you unto Myself" (John 14).

Poll: Best age for first tattoo?

I don't think I have said that people ought to get tattoos. The plain fact is that so many do, including many Christians for witness reasons.

Poll: Best age for first tattoo?

@Pearl ; While I'm addressing you, because you just clicked 'like', above, it's more a general comment to ppl, also. This is from tattooseasily dot com (and what it says about women would apply to men also, incl. your son) : (Thought it was quite a good explanation.)

What does having the 'Mind of Christ' mean?

Paul even uses a phrase like 'Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus' at the beginning of the sublime passage about the One who became obedient unto death, even the death of the Cross, etc.
