More is the pity. They are important aspects of Divine revelation in Scripture.

That's not a logical conclusion. The Word of God as given indeed abides for ever; the transitional Apostolic era gifts do not.

So did the recently tattooed lady from your church see it as a Gospel era rather than law-keeping issue? or maybe she didn't go into detail with you.

Ironside wrote some good commentaries I think a lot were sermons that were subsequently printed. Seems that today it's fashionable for preachers to de-emphasize the Rapture.

Thanks for your comment! Maybe if today more ppl went to the parlor as individuals (albeit sometimes with friends and family to give them moral support) and got tattoos that were well planned and deliberately chosen in their design and placement, then there would be less regrets, right? :)

Good to distinguish whether a passage is talking about the church or Israel; otherwise all sorts of confusion may arise.

Some good comments! although the original Levitical priesthood was God ordained, it was a system that was changed (Hebrews 7), and the Lord Jesus is golriously revealed as our Great High Priest.

I am finding that a lot of ppl who call themselves evangelicals think it's somehow fashionable to be cynical and dismissive of the Lord's coming for His church. (John 14; 1 Thessalonians 4).
