Interesting... My wife and I talked to a young lady with the whole of John 3.16 tattooed on her wrist area; it was her favorite Bible verse and mine also. I can understand this as being viewed by a lot of Christians as very positive, rather than negative. (If you see what I mean?)

@"ByGrace" It's just that when one has worn them for so long and for whatever reason they are removed for a while, it can feel like one is not really dressed properly; it feels rather 'bare', without them in. (Maybe you have had this experience also?)

Again, the completion of Scripture is the key to understanding the transitional Apostolic era, with its sign gifts, etc.

Oh okay, right, thanks, yes. Seems like she definitely got tattooed for Gospel advancing reasons: this being her motivation for doing it. A lot of Christians think the same way, don't they?
