I would take the reference in 1 Cor. 13 as referring to the completion of revelation in the Scriptures.

I would see grace as the operative principle (Ephesians, Galatians; rather than law-keeping) in the church. So I can understand Christians pragmatically using ink as a proven effective witness means.

@justbyfaith I suppose your wife dislikes tattoos as well as earrings. Some ppl prefer an unmodified simplicity, which is fine.
