Oh I'm sure some ppl go waaay over the top with some types of body piercings... But ears - in all their potential piercing varieties - are generally rather benign, anyway. Some ppl still prefer the single classic one each side; but extras in ears, if wished for, are still in a rather benign...

I'm nit sure I would agree entirely; because who knows whether what I may think God is saying to me - however intensely - is actually more about my imagination than about what God clearly has revealed in the Scriptures?

I think it's a textual difference there; the Textus Receptus says 'faith', I think.

And also, what I may think God says to me may be intensely personal to me but subjective, while what He says in His Word is normative and objective.

If you look in the King James it does say 'faith' at Galatians 5.22.

I'm sure there is some truth here; but I would also make a big distinction between what I may say God has said to me, and what God says in His Word.

There is so much Divine wisdom in Romans... :)

It's good to be wise as to future events in Scripture; but I don't think that we should point to things in the news and say that this is definitely the complete fulfillment of particular future events.

Yes, I've seen quite a lot of coloring books for all ages at places such as Michaels, etc. It's getting rather popular and widespread; often an album will have some unifying theme for coloring.

I was thinking that words such as "emergency:, or "disabled" (as on cars driven by evidently physically fit people), etc, can mean different things to different people, when convenient...
