You might have. But then again you.might not. You have been prevented from going by unforseen circumstances. That is why we must read the text carefully and make sure we are not twisting things.

It does not say. You are reading things into the text to fit into your own ideas about sin. Sir.

Lessons learned from Jesus: the parable of the two sons, Biblical repentance #2

@Titus I made a mistake because of what you added. The second son is just said to have not gone, that's all, nothing about him changing his mind.

Yes but scripture does not say the reason. Obedience is not having second thoughts and regretting it. That is not obedience. However, something cropping up to stop our obedience does not take away the intention. He could have been run over and put in hospital. It does not say.

He is teaching about obedience. It is my understanding. It was intention that showed the obedience.

Lessons learned from Jesus: the parable of the two sons, Biblical repentance #2

Scripture says he changed his mind. Nothing about Biblical repented. 28 “But what do you think? A man had two sons, and he came to the first and said, ‘Son, go, work today in my vineyard.’ 29 He answered and said, ‘I will not,’ but afterward he regretted it and went. 30 Then he came to the...

@Titus Your conclusion is wrong, like that of the ones rebuked by Christ. Ye do err, not knowing the Scriptures nor the power of God. The son who obeyed the Father, was the second who answered immediately he would go. The first son said he would not go. It is how we respond straight away to...

Western Trinitarians, do not follow the early church teaching.

Haha, not funny. Only the truth speaks to me. I began to come out of Protestantism when I found its tenets are not to be found in the early church. The past two years have cured me from it and I will never go back and it is more recently that I have been looking at the Trinity. Many are...

Thank you @Johann Prov 8:22 says: New International Version “The LORD brought me forth as the first of his works, before his deeds of old; New Living Translation “The LORD formed me from the beginning, before he created anything else. English Standard Version “The LORD possessed me at the...

I held your view for 50 years and you think I should go back to it? There is nothing I do not know about your view. Farewell!

I would add, that the incarnate Christ, being a mix between eternity and creation, has the ability to function throughout creation as Saviour and not just after the incarnation.

God the Father, brought Jesus Christ into being at the beginning of creation, whereas He Himself existed eternally, and at the point of creation, as it is through Christ that this creation came forth. Scripture is not clear so far on whether the two were at the same time or not. I think it is...

"Bear always in mind that this is the rule of faith which I profess; by it I testify that the Father, and the Son, and the Spirit are inseparable from each other, and so will you know in what sense this is said. Now, observe, my assertion is that the Father is one, and the Son one, and the...

It is that encounter that they call 'born again' and everyone has the same testimony - that it was Christ they encountered. May I suggest that you consider this.
