The Orthodox Preterist versus the Heretical Dispensationalist

Did He say that about the 24,000 (and tens of thousands of others that He slew on other occasions)?

The Orthodox Preterist versus the Heretical Dispensationalist

Of course He negated them. How would you answer that question?
  3. C

The Orthodox Preterist versus the Heretical Dispensationalist

Yes. Because of their sin. Their chosenness did not immunize them from God's penalty for sin.

The Orthodox Preterist versus the Heretical Dispensationalist

They were God's chosen people, but He slew them. Why would He do that to His chosen people?

The Orthodox Preterist versus the Heretical Dispensationalist

You said "The true understanding doesn't require that you negate any parts of the Bible.". When Jesus took away the first, i.e. animal sacrifices, did He negate them?

Meaning of This Generation Will Not Pass Away Until All These Things Take Place

It is far more modernist than traditional, as not until the appearance of dispensational futurism's Scofield Reference Bible in the 20th century did the malinterpretation emerge widely. No historical expositor prior to then ever identified the AoD as antichrist. The identity of the AoD is...

The Orthodox Preterist versus the Heretical Dispensationalist

Numbers 25 9 And those that died in the plague were twenty and four thousand. Seems God didn't get your message.

Meaning of This Generation Will Not Pass Away Until All These Things Take Place

"Nigh" does not mean "after the fact". It means "approaching". Which is before the fact.

The Orthodox Preterist versus the Heretical Dispensationalist

Hebrews 10 9 Then said he, Lo, I come to do thy will, O God. He taketh away the first, that he may establish the second. What is the first, and what is the second?

The Orthodox Preterist versus the Heretical Dispensationalist

All of the posted Scriptures are God's Last Words regarding His Covenants and His Promises. God's Last Words are the Words which take precedence. Stop whining and complaining and attempting to deny God His Divine Right to rewrite His Own Will and Testament. And get with His Program.

The Orthodox Preterist versus the Heretical Dispensationalist

Why not read all of the Scriptures in the post? Then explain this: Hebrews 8 6 But now hath he obtained a more excellent ministry, by how much also he is the mediator of a better covenant, which was established upon better promises. If you can disprove any Scriptures in the post, please do.

Meaning of This Generation Will Not Pass Away Until All These Things Take Place

1074 [e] genea γενεὰ generation N-NFS "the whole multitude of men living at the same time: Matthew 24:34" I'm confident that Bro. Strong's understanding of Greek surpasses yours.

The Orthodox Preterist versus the Heretical Dispensationalist

You've just agreed that "after nearly 2,000 years of being gone", i.e ceased; it is not God's nation of Jeremiah 31. Stop worshipping the abomination of antichrist Israel. 1 John 2:22,23; 4:3 In God's New Will and Testament, all covenants and promises are fulfilled only in Christ, and in...

The Orthodox Preterist versus the Heretical Dispensationalist

Israel ceased to be a nation for a cumulative 2,000 years during its exiles. But those faithful and obedient to God never ceased to be a Nation to Him. That's why His Church is declared to be His Holy Nation in 1 Peter 2:9. Get your nations right.

The Orthodox Preterist versus the Heretical Dispensationalist

That's a good one, hadn't heard it, gotta remember that. Much more factual than facetious.
  16. C

The Orthodox Preterist versus the Heretical Dispensationalist

God's Holy Nation is those of faithfulness and obedience to Him. AKA His Church. Matthew 21:43; 1 Peter 2:9

The Orthodox Preterist versus the Heretical Dispensationalist

Apparently you don't know who did not "cease from being a nation before God for ever". But God knows.

The Orthodox Preterist versus the Heretical Dispensationalist

Apparently you don't know who God's Nation is. But He does.
  19. C

The Orthodox Preterist versus the Heretical Dispensationalist

The physical nation of Israel ceased to be a physical nation multiple times during its OT exiles for apostasy and during the many centuries after 70 AD. It is not the Israel which satisfies God's declaration in Jeremiah 31. There is only one Israel which satisfies His declaration. It is the...

The Orthodox Preterist versus the Heretical Dispensationalist

I'm not asking about Israel. I'm asking about the identity of the nation in Matthew 21:43. Why don't you know it?
