He put the Tree OF Knowledge of GOOD and EVIL on the Garden ALONG WITH allowing Satan in there for a purpose. He knew what would happen, it was part of the plan. We cannot really know and appreciate what is good (all of God's attributes and blessings) unless we go without and experience evil. We...

Hebrews 9:27 The Bible teaches one life, one death and then the judgment. Jesus said however if you believe in him even though you shall physically die, your spirit will live eternally. We get one shot to reconcile with God. There is no endless cycle, not even another physical life. Elijah and...

No sex, so no sex organs either. It's interesting to ponder. We recognize loved ones by their sex. When we go to heaven, we will be surprised. "Is that you Mom? What happened to your breasts?" "Don't need them up here honey..." So, knowing them by name, they would still keep their names whether...

We need to understand the difference between good and evil. Sin needs to be judged. Seeing punishment and even death detours us from doing things that would warrant His punishment or wrath. The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom and knowledge. By fear, that means to take Him seriously...

Listen, there are quite a few knowledgeble layman on this forum. Maybe some have advanced degrees in theology? I don't believe those with masters, doctorates or even Clergy have the time to devote hours to sometimes fruitless conversations and debates like we do. I doubt if any of the members...

I am in agreement that we need to be accountable to eachother. If we sin, get out of line in life, God chastises us and gets us back on the the right path. We have so many flaws in our thinking and behavior. We need to be transparent with them among others, accountable. But our sins have been...

Stop. You are obviously not qualified to translate the Holy Scriptures. You can't even get the first sentence right. And by the way, this concept of "breathing God's name" is not new. Rabbis and pastors have presented this before you were born. I am not validating it, just saying it's been out...

So that we can know what good is and appreciate it when it comes. When we are in darkness and light shines it is glorious. Could we know forgiveness if there wasn't sin? Could we know mercy and healing if not for pain and suffering? Could we know love and faith, kindness, joy, truth if we did...

These are all terrible tragedies. However, domestic violence and murder has happenned since the beginning ( Cain murdered his brother Abel). These end times ( which we are in) will likely get much much worse once the Antichrist is revealed and starts to require that everyone receives his...

Interesting and related scriptures you chose - all pertaining to a fire, and if viewed from heaven would look like a "lake of fire" (hell). Notice that this fire is described as being on earth, in Jerusalem and the surrounding region. Examine each scripture. The fire is viewed by flesh _ is one...

You are spot on by saying it is impossible for homosexuals to be born that way. We are born in sin. Sin has been past down from Adam, (the original sin) which corrupts our nature. So we have this proclivity for sin, a sinful nature, to rebel against God, against His Law and go our own way. My...

The end of the age is coming and you will see it as you enter into the Millennial Kingdom, a new age. Nothing else more to say. God Bless

Well, in Matthew 24, the disciples asked Jim a loaded, three part question. His answer addressed the desteuctiin of Jerusalem and the Temple, but alsobHis Seconf Coming and the end of the age. Sobwasn79 AD the end of the age? No, Christianity just got started. In vs. 14 Jesus tells specifically...

I understand the Amillennial viewpoint, but this added, "even in the flesh (theirs)" is unique. Did you come up with that one? You think the Holy Spirit is Jesus and so whenever we look at a Christian, when can say, "There he is, and over there _ Jesus _ in the flesh_ in everyone. No, Jesus in...

Back then the future meant anytime, any generation ... 100 years, 1000 years ... not very specific. Now the meaning has been narrowed down to the time we are in, our generation.

You have put together a good study. I have had conflicts with those who think of "total sinless perfectionisn", which we will not achieve until we go to heaven and rid ourselves of the flesh. Jesus is sinless perfection and we are in Christ. However, I believe we all have moments of perfection...

And what year, day and hour is that? Was a poll taken by 2.7 billion people?

Good post. I would just add that being cleansed of sin (past, present and future) is spiritual. So that at any moment, if we die, we go to be with God, presented spotless, white as snow. So where is the sin? "Sin dwells in the members of our flesh." As you pointed out in Romans 7 ( which many...

First of all, the context compares this time "as in the days of Noah". Rhe entire world did not believe the warning except Noah and his family. GOD told Noah when to load up the Ark and shut the doors. So if you don't believe, then you can't expect anything to happen. Furthermore, if he doesn't...

The Pharisees accused Jesus of performing miracles by the power of Satan. THAT in essence was saying the the power of the Holy Spirit and the Holy Spirit himself is Satan. That is rejecting the Holy Spirit in the most offensive way. Ultimately the damned reject God. "God draws all men to...
