No one has seen God at any time, John?

I do--I admit that I have been beyond the cannon of what is written on parchment, caught up to the third heaven, and now speak what is not mine but His who sent me to reveal and finish the mystery of God as he declared to his servants the prophets.

No one has seen God at any time, John?

I am not saying that. You are saying He is. Fine. But I am saying that Jesus is God, and that your theology is dated and limited to only what was revealed before that part that was sealed was revealed.

No one has seen God at any time, John?

"As fully revealed in scripture" is the issue. Because part was not revealed, but sealed...and that part is not included in your doctrine...or you could state just what it is, but cannot. Be honest. Your doctrine is missing that part that was sealed.

No one has seen God at any time, John?

Perhaps I should let @TLHKAJ answer...but those passages do not make void the fact that the Son was and is included in "let US create man in OUR image", whom are biblically defined as "One."

No one has seen God at any time, John?

You don't need to repeat that part. What is of issue in your own expressed theology, is that part that was written but not revealed at the time that your stated doctrine was formed. And if it was, you could state it also, but cannot.

No one has seen God at any time, John?

You still have not acknowledged that all of His creed was not revealed at that time, and would not be until the end.
  7. ScottA

No one has seen God at any time, John?

And I have told you that "changed" is the wrong word...not the issue.
  8. ScottA

No one has seen God at any time, John?

Then you understand very little. As I said, only part.
  9. ScottA

No one has seen God at any time, John?

Not what I "believe." That has not been the nature of my communication with you. I owe nothing, but have revealed much.
  10. ScottA

No one has seen God at any time, John?

He did not and will not "add to His creed." However, a part that was always His creed was not fully revealed, but sealed until the end.
  11. ScottA

No one has seen God at any time, John?

Do you reject that Jesus' creed was not fully stated at that time when your version of monotheism was formed, that there were things yet to be revealed that are a part of His creed?
  12. ScottA

No one has seen God at any time, John?

How is it that you do not understand that even Christ spoke the words of the Father, saying "My words?" That now when I do exactly what He has arranged for by the Holy Spirit whom He sent, you reject what He has said that I have told you? Do you still not understand or believe how this works?
  13. ScottA

No one has seen God at any time, John?

"Changed" (His theology) is the wrong word. It is not that He changed, but rather that He had not revealed all, making what you hold to incomplete.
  14. ScottA

No one has seen God at any time, John?

And I told you He did not reject His own creed, but surpassed the creed of that time, at which time, going He said, "follow Me."
  15. ScottA

No one has seen God at any time, John?

No, I was saying that with those who reject Christ in any way, whether beginning or end, there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.
  16. ScottA

No one has seen God at any time, John?

Now you align with the atheists who demand proof of God, and Israel who demanded a sign. But what I have been speaking of is not what I "believe." But by the same Spirit that I have been speaking, Jesus did not reject the creed He made His own--nor did I say anything of the sort. He simply...
  17. ScottA

No one has seen God at any time, John?

I have told you nothing. But He has told you how this works, and you apparently did not believe Him.
  18. ScottA

No one has seen God at any time, John?

If your position were compatible with Jesus, you would have followed Him to the end. But you stopped where you only perceive that He stopped, and yet more was given that by His word was sealed and yet to be finished, making your theology--not His, but yours--incomplete.

No one has seen God at any time, John?

You will see what Israel saw--not what they witnessed, but only what they did not believe.
