Thy Seleucids were one of 4 empires that were represented by the 4 horns that grew from the Grecian goat. They were essential Greek. The other 3 kings were Ptolemy,Lysimachus, and Cassander.

It is if you need faith to believe it's real, then receive it, and open it, and live according to its contents. "Sanctify them through Thy truth, Thy word is truth". Anyone is calling God a liar when their own ideas are superimposed over God's word. They become their own authority, and their...

I'm 73. I remember.

I'll get back to this dairy later, I'm about to go for a swim.

And when Jesus comes again, will He not still be in the flesh? Certainly not as we are presently, because we shall be changed into whatever body He has, but a body nevertheless, just as He offered Thomas to touch... same body that ate with them on the beach... and will eat with us all at the...

I agree with much of what you present here, particularly concerning aliens and life on other planets coming here. As for Satan being revealed to our sight. Even occultism has a timetable for that and are in expectation of satanic agencies (they have other names for them) manifesting...

Prophecy from Daniel pinpointed 4 major literal local empires that would dominate and at times rule over God's people. Babylon, Medo- Persia, Greece, and Rome. A fifth power, growing from the head of Rome as a little horn, revealed as transition from literal local empires to global spiritual...

In 1976 I received the Lord as my Saviour. I visited a few churches before settling for a vibrant young AOG church in the city. This was not my hometown. I had transferred there 12 months previously from across the other side on the country. This was well before cell phones texts, the only...

Yes, only God is immortal. Yet by grace has chosen to share that immortality... eternal life as a gift... conditionally. You are deviating into guesswork and imagination. That's why we have the Bible. To reduce the "philosophy and vain deceit" that contradicts reality simply because it...

Only God is immortal. Eternal life is conditional on the acceptance of the sacrifice made on our behalf, and then living up to and in the light we allow into our lives. The satanic agencies revealed their character at Calvary, and are irreconcilable but they hang on in desperation till the...

I agree that divine intervention in human affairs is a sound description of what can go on in our lives, at least in my case personally. And supernatural, without question, which really is the definition of a miracle is it not? An event that would humanly be utterly unlikely and beyond the...

Enjoying your arguments, and kudos to you for presenting them well. I'm new to philosophical exchange, and am not really equipped intellectually to participate with the intent to prove a point. But I do have a few thoughts regarding a few things, for example, what you refer to as limits...

Over the 30 years I've been an adventist, (in now 73) o have also been blessed through some wonderful miracles of providence and protection. I am never to shy to share those experiences, and have never been asked to stop. That said, i have been to a few adventist churches and never returned...

Your paradigm has not made a dent in SDA eschatology. You have often said you grew up as an adventist. You haven't mentioned to my knowledge at what age you moved away, whether it was your choice or your parents. Whatever it was, my guess is you were asleep during Sabbath classes that dealt...

Good on him. But it doesn't change one thing with regards the current American hope that Trump can bring righteousness to the nation and is looked upon by many as the nations saviour , because the church in America has forgotten that replacing Christ with another is antichrist. I know that...

The premise is correct, there are two distinct separate comings to earth by our Lord and Saviour. The timing however is askew. The first coming is indeed at the resurrection of the just. This takes place after the plagues during which time God's people are protected, but witness those events...

It's fascinating to me how so many on these forums think they can know what the mark is and write profusely on the topic, even to the point of criticising those who have different ideas, yet none know and can firmly and biblically testify to the true identity of the beast itself. They know...
