Yes, you've answered succinctly and clearly. Unless we surrender to the authority of the Catholic Church, we are lost. Got it.

I have seen no evidence here of any anti-Catholic activity or speech. I, despite what you may think, have never been anti Catholic. Anti catholicism certainly, and with good reason. And I'm willing to give sound biblical support for my views of you are interested. Just don't write them off...

All true. The question remains, is your church His church? And if so, what evidence do you have to support that? I ask this because there is the "sure word of prophecy" that reveals otherwise.

Well, by their fruits ye shall know them.

The first beast of Revelation12 is a composite of those 4 beasts. A power that is independent from them, but inherited their attributes, character, and this explains why the prophecy says that despite being defeated, KJV Daniel 7:12 12 As concerning the rest of the beasts, they had their...

There's an aspect that needs to be recognized however. While I agree with you that the first 4 empires, Babylon, Meda-Persia, Greece and Rome were earthly kingdoms, there are other powers/horns that grew from them, one of which considered itself a spiritual power by opposing even heaven...

I always find it highly amusing to be driving along minding my business, and lo, there's a kangaroo bouncing through the traffic lights. Or just sitting on the traffic island watching the cars go by. I was driving the school bus one morning and driving down a dead end street with a short "T"at...

So a heretic who once believed Jesus can keep him saved but now believes he is saved by his works, is still saved. So why did you start this thread again?

When I posted this my friend, it was to you, and I meant every word:) The other section was something you said to Barney, which he was quoting. Yeah, I know, it was a little confusing. But my initial statement stands.

If a genuine Christian is deceived and becomes a heretic, has he lost his salvation?

So scripture presents one word describing the adoration of the Son... Worship. But because you have decided that the Son isn't God, then the word worship when in context of the Son must be mistranslated. Right. That's a great way to find out truth. Create an idea and alter the meaning of...

And Sunday sacredness...ooops

Like pastor Bohr??? God on Trial

I never met David, but we had a very good common friend in NZ until he passed away a few years ago with cancer. He used to take David fly fishing, but our friend was also an exceptional Bible student. I can imagine he and David having some great conversations. I have a friend here who every...

I just finished watching am older series of his... Rethinking prophecy. I will look up the above.

After all the above, it's not surprising you would say... And you are teaching this in a class to others!

Because they believe the God who gave the law is unfair, unjust, arbitrary and judgemental, so they fail/refuse to see those qualities (edit... Justice, mercy, faith) enshrined in the law... Especially the Sabbath. Christians can't get rid off the law fast enough.

I think there would be thousands who would totally identify with that. Waiting for the Lord. Waiting. Waiting.....What's the hold up Lord? Why are you taking so long? "You are waiting for Me? My son, I am waiting for you."

Strange then that people have so many issues with it.
