    The Sabbath Day

Mmmm. I mean, I agree with the scriptures you posted of course, (who would say otherwise) but we need to be careful when we talk about righteousness by faith. It is a much misunderstood subject... We aren't righteous simply because we believe we are. We are righteous because we believe/trust in...

    The Sabbath Day

Amen Barn, when everlasting life is on the line, there are no stupid questions sir. In fact I truly appreciate your asking me, and allowing me to bear testimony for my God on those concerns. I may not agree with everything you offer, but I like your attitude.

Were the 10 Commandments written to us?

Oh yay. Another thread offering everyone the opportunity to declare their hatred for the Sabbath, and invent all manner of creative reasons to justify it.

Nazis, foreshadowing the Christian Holocaust, by the Antichrist.

Do you understand the underlying meaning of that word... Wondered? KJV Revelation 13:3 3 And I saw one of his heads as it were wounded to death; and his deadly wound was healed: and all the world wondered after the beast. It means to stand in awe with great admiration. Please be fully assured...

    The Sabbath Day

I don't know how advanced in years you are 1CL, but I certainly agree with you. As I view the world and the church, turning 99 in view of the second coming is unthinkable. And yet I still remember clearly that in the 80s I didn't think I'd reach 45.

    The Sabbath Day

Where is there in scripture anything requiring a conversion to Judaism? Conversion required always a return to God... The church in the OT was merely God's instrument in teaching and explaining the law and demonstrating the love of God... His character... To the world. The first and foremost...

How to avoid the mark of the Beast.

Very. They spoke in both languages, as well as Hebrew. There is evidence that the dominant language of the time was Greek, both spoken am be written. Mark for example quoted 3 instances where Jesus spoke Aramaic. Why would Mark note those 3 instances especially if Jesus spoke Aramaic all the time?

    The Sabbath Day

All of them. Numerous times over. But what has that got to do with the topic at hand? Because we have sinned yesterday, does that excuse us from doing right tomorrow?

    The Sabbath Day

Mmmm. So despite the fact that the Sabbath is a holy day, still, there being no declaration from God otherwise, Christians are now free to profane that which is holy? When pray tell, did this abomination of spiritual rebellion enter the church?

Nazis, foreshadowing the Christian Holocaust, by the Antichrist.

KJV 2 Thessalonians 2:3-4 3 Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition; 4 Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God...

Nazis, foreshadowing the Christian Holocaust, by the Antichrist.

Not only the Italians, as the scripture says, the whole world shall wonder after the beast...

    This really grabbed me today!

Yes. The Son of God. God begotten. And as a righteous Son was granted the inheritance of all things, even the kingdom. Isn't that glorious that we have a brother seated on the throne of the Almighty, and that we may share in that inheritance.

    Picture of God

In discussions of this nature and this topic, I tend to revert to two points of argument that at least to me, are incontrovertible. The first, and to me the most important, centers on the character of God. I've mentioned this many times in the past, but I have yet to be convinced of any error...

Nazis, foreshadowing the Christian Holocaust, by the Antichrist.

The church approves, even validates it. Ask yourself. Who is the center of attention here... Man... Or God? Or man who thinks he is God?

    This really grabbed me today!

The writer of the Book of Hebrews, whom I believe was Paul, opened his epistle with these words... “God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets, Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by...

    This really grabbed me today!

To the contrary. You are inserting the assumption that despite natural grammar and weird meanings, you are claiming the word begotten does not mean begotten, but created. The angels were created. They were not begotten. Mankind was formed from the dust of the earth, not created, made, but...

    The Sabbath Day

It isn't just about you though. The commandment, in order to maintain the holiness of the day, (which is today, and in this church age, still a holy day regardless of whether you are Jew or Japanese, which truth everyone wants to deny) stipulates that not only you rest, but that you also extend...
