I agree with you Theefaith. But not everyone will. And I think you push too much on a doctrine that cannot be biblically proven. I'm having a difficult time trying to understand what the ECFs believed. If you have any references, I'd appreciate it.

Theefaith... Do you know your Catholic Doctrine? Being baptized does not mean being born again as is understood by Protestants and as is understood in John 3 and as is understood by the very CC that you seem to want to represent. Please ask someone... Just because an infant is baptized does...

Yes, I'd have to agree with you. I had posted these verses in another post. Thanks for listing the actual verses. I do believe Mary was born without the sin nature. I also believe it's interesting that her body has never been found. But that's another story....

@Pearl P.S. Do you think God prepared Mary for her role... or do you think He picked the best woman around at that time? I think God prepared her for this most important role. (I'm not reformed, but in some cases I do believe God prepared persons for special missions, as do most Christians).

What do you think the sin nature is? How were we originally in the Garden? I really don't believe Mary was born with the sin nature. And I'm not Catholic. As far as scripture: I'll go with Luke 1. And I'm studying up on the ECFs a bit too. But I tire of it...

Had a little girl get-together last evening. All girls: teenagers, young women and older women. The teenagers and both young women had a few tattoos...all small. One had a pretty "bracelet" tattoo and she loves it. It looked like this but without those two solid black lines. Oh...and no crossses.

You think God made Jesus be born of a person that has evil in them? The sin nature is evil. In the Garden, we find the knowledge of the Tree of Good and Evil.
