    Total Inability: Genesis 1-4

Let ME be crystal clear A, I'm the one who's been saying that we have the free will of A and E and that it HAS NOT BEEN TAKEN AWAY FROM US. Please show me WHERE in scripture it has been taken away. As to what our free will is really able to do. Since you wish to be crystal clear...how about...

    Total Inability: Genesis 1-4

Jesus died for the sins of the whole world. 1 John 2:2 His sacrifice was SUFFICIENT for ALL the sins of every man that ever lived or will live in the future. But to make Jesus' sacrifice efficacious...we must ACCEPT that gift of love. God so loved the world that He made plans BEFORE Adam and...

    Total Inability: Genesis 1-4

All those atheists that you say have no free will... by their own free will have said NO to God. And, of course, you won't answer my post to you about the preternatural gifts God gave to Adam and Eve. Free Will is NOT among them because FREE WILL is a normal gift and not a supernatural gift...

Question for Catholics or those who have left the Catholic church

Anyway, one just can't decide to be excommunicated. There are rules to follow. One could just stop going to church.

Question for Catholics or those who have left the Catholic church

Yes. I'm being serious. What incorrect teachings is the cc engaging in? Are you having difficulty answering this question?

Is there salvation outside the Catholic Church?

You don't really understand what I'm asking. It's OK...you're used to arguing with Protestants.

Is there salvation outside the Catholic Church?

I agree fully, but will this common ground ever be found? I doubt Catholics want to give up their Madonna. It's interesting that even this Pope, who is very liberal, loves to talk about Jesus' Mother. I don't see any change in the near future.

Question for Catholics or those who have left the Catholic church

Yes, I agree with you. Horrible tragedies. Same stuff went on in Protestantism... Man is born with the sin nature - after all. that church is not killing anyone these days. But Tyndale wasn't a doctrine... you said they taught heresies or wrong doctrine... I asked you: Like what?

Teresa of Avila and Watering the Garden

Sure...all believers do. Not in the precise order that she listed them. Some come in room 2 according to her writing,,but we might experience it in room 5,,, or V V. I believe the important learning is that it's a growing....

Teresa of Avila and Watering the Garden

It's not so much about what God does for us ... although it's definitely a part of the journey ... He certainly does water the field. I learned about this journey as being 7 rooms that we go through..each room is a step toward God. It's about what we learn and what happens to us with the help...

    Total Inability: Genesis 1-4

You never replied to my very long posts to you. I don't really expect you to reply to it all.. But you always bring up free will, which everything hinges upon, I think. What I'd like you to answer is when was free will taken away? YOU THINK you've answered, but you haven't. You said that A...

Is there salvation outside the Catholic Church?

From the little I've heard that this Maria hears Mary say,,,to me it just sounds like normal statements that anyone could come up with. I've always wondered why Mary doesn't appear to Protestants...I'm told because we don't believe in her; all the more reason! Maybe Protestantism would change...

Once Saved Always Saved Garbage Teaching!!

    What do YOU think?

Is there salvation outside the Catholic Church?

I don't believe they've been rejected... I believe they have not been confirmed, or accepted. This has been going on for about 30 years now. I also have actually spoken to persons that claim they saw the sun change color, or lights..have never heard about voices; but this Maria (?) woman sees...

Is there salvation outside the Catholic Church?

Well E, I cannot believe that allowing persons in mortal sin to receive communion is not a change in doctrine. If that isn't I don't really know what could be. Cardinals and Bishops all over the world are very upset over this change. I must say that your statement above does not agree with...

Is there salvation outside the Catholic Church?

All good, but my point was that the EARLY CHURCH FATHERS (or even the Apostolic Fathers) did not unanimously claim that infants HAD to be baptized till at least a couple of hundreds of years later --- and certainly not for the reason Augustine taught. If @BreadOfLife could come up with some...

Is there salvation outside the Catholic Church?

Actually G,,,this is a good practice. The CC does confirm when it believes a miracle or apparition to be legitimate. It carefully investigates... for instance, Lourdes in France is accepted... Medjugorje in Bosnia is not. There have been thousands of miracles reported in Lourdes... the cc...

Is there salvation outside the Catholic Church?

Protestants believe O.S. is what the early fathers taught... It is the first sin that Adam committed that caused the sin nature to enter into the world. We suffer from the effect of O.S. Augustine, in the 400's taught that O.S. was passed on to every human,,,every human became culpable...

Question for Catholics or those who have left the Catholic church

    1. Catholicism does not lead people to hell. It lead people to God --- at least those who want to go there. 2. Which false teachings does it teach?

Question for Catholics or those who have left the Catholic church

Are you still around? Could you answer my post no. 3 Please? Also, you said this in the O.P. after being confirmed into the faith, one has made a solemn vow to keep and uphold the Catholic faith. Could you post a link or explain how you know this? Thanks.
