Can anybody really tell what time it is?

Your position and understanding is worldly and has God contradicting Himself when He says, "before the foundation of the world." But not even science supports the idea that we walk through time making things up as we go or evolving, but rather that it is the illusion that I have been explaining.

Self analysis of your Christian witness

The only way that we can be understood by others, is if God opens their ears and eyes to hear and see. Nonetheless, one lays the foundation, an another builds upon it. We do and say and give testimony according to what we are called. It's not a choice, but rather who we are.

Can anybody really tell what time it is?

One cannot change what is written. But, no need, the problem was solved before the foundation of the world.

    Theory of Evolution

    So it is written.

    Theory of Evolution

You're not getting it. If one is a child of God who is the timeless "I am", then they "are" timeless also...and this is just the story which is written of it. In other words, that person does not actually live within the pages of their story, but aside from it, just as God is aside from it...

Can anybody really tell what time it is?

Indeed, unfortunately, the will of men manifest in the world rather than the will of God.

    Theory of Evolution

I guess I have been unsuccessful in relaying the fact to you that life in the world is a book on a shelf, in which there is no actual inherent life, except what is written. The storyboard is not actually a living entity.

    Theory of Evolution

That is because the term "evolution" does not tell all and does not do justice to the greater truth. If it were as simple as "things evolve", and therefore evolution is true and the bible is wrong or misunderstood, that would be easy. And for those who exist without God, that is enough and it...

Can anybody really tell what time it is?

Yes. Nonetheless, He (through men) declares things before they come about, for those who do have an ear to hear.

    Who are the guests?

"We" ... If we please the Lord, we do so because we would like nothing more.

    God bless you bb!

Can anybody really tell what time it is?

I understand. But that is not the precedent that we have been given. But rather that the chosen repeatedly falter and are in need of correction - not from me, but from God, whom by Him comes from the mouth of very few (two or three) witnesses...rejected and under attack, because men would...
  13. ScottA

    Who are the guests?

Yes, but there is no waiting, I would say, for those who can receive it now. We please the Lord because would would like nothing more, or it is not pleasing to Him.

Can anybody really tell what time it is?

Indeed. This shows the Lord letting His light shine forth in spite of what was shining forth from the hill upon which Israel had been placed. What they may have meant for evil, He meant for good.

Why did God love and forgive David so?

Psalm 63:4 Thus I will bless You while I live; I will lift up my hands in Your name.

Can anybody really tell what time it is?

This above statement alone is the heart of your comments. Which is like saying there is nothing unseen, but only that which is seen is true. Or like saying there is nothing spiritual about what is written, but only what it means as it applies to the world and living in it. Do you not know...

Can anybody really tell what time it is?

It is the Lord's will "that none should perish, but that all should come to repentance." So, it is a repeated theme that He puts before men the choice of life and death, and advises "therefore, choose life." This, He did to Israel, and also to the apostles. Each version speaks to a different ear.
  18. ScottA

    Who are the guests?

Well, yes, in a sense that is what happens: the flesh goes to the grave and is burned in the fire, but lives in would-be glory until passing away.
  19. ScottA

Can anybody really tell what time it is?

No. It was a test. The question, as you say, presents both possible ways of answering. But one is spiritual and the other is of the flesh. Lineage in the word of God is given through the male, as the "sons" of God. The sons of the flesh are accursed. But more importantly, Jesus asked knowing...

    What constitutes the Church?

    Yes...ain't it great?!
