    The Afterlife

The same amount of time it took God to say, "I am." ...It did not take God time to say "I am", but it does take us time to hear it. But if we have heard but do not acknowledge that God simply "is", we remain in our valley of decision, not One, but separate.

    The Afterlife

There are and have been many ways to explain these matters, and also to explain them away. But nothing says it better, nor can any refute the meaning of, "I am."

    The Afterlife

God is the Truth...and he is timeless. That is where the logic must center, and for that matter, also begin and end. Thus, if a timeless God in a timeless setting were to tell a story, from beginning to end, as it were. He would [once upon a time] begin where there is no beginning, and end...

    The Afterlife

As you will. But if I may explain... The same is true of one who reads a book that is written. He does not know the next chapter or the end...and yet the story is already written. He is last to know. But the truth from God, is that these things which we now see manifest in our time, were so from...

    The Afterlife

Not to allow creatures "to change", but to tell of what was established from the foundation of the world. But, yes, time remains for the unsaved, but the saved are timeless already.

    The Afterlife

Blessings to you as well. But let me ask you: Which is easier, to be your age, or to lay out each day, week, month, or year? For our sake God has indeed laid them out - but if we say so, it is a lie (and "every man a liar"). For, in truth, God, speaking of Himself, says, "I am." Therefore, if...

    The Afterlife

Indeed. However, that is to be understood "as it is written." Whose time was timeless, "slain from the foundation of the world."

    The Afterlife

"Afterlife" is a misconception. It assumes that there is life "before." This is wrong. When we are born into this world, we are born into death, that sentence given to all born of women since Adam. To have life, we must be born [again] of the spirit (of God).

    The Afterlife

This is another issue of timeline confusion. Time is an illusion, a creation, the telling of a story that is [already] written. It is finished. The "end" comes at death - "each in his own order." As for entering into His glory, we enter (if we enter) at that time in our part of the story...

God or the Devil , Life and death.

The confusion is a component of our language (all confounded at the tower of Babel). That confusion is due to a timeline perspective...which does not actually exist as such, but is rather, a form of media: History is His story. Those things that we experience in life as we know it were not, nor...

Why Keep Shabbat? I’M Not A Jew!

Those in Christ having received the Holy Spirit according to Joel the profit and Christ, do no more practice. It is finished. To do otherwise, is to deny Christ.

    The Problem With The Trinity

This is all a matter of context. God is God, and is One. The fact that the human mind does struggle with it is apparent. And yet, it is foolishness. I am a father, a son, and a man of my work...each known to be distinct - but I too am one. So, is a man who says there is no trinity unemployed...

The Bible is more a record of those who "know", than those who "believe."

Indeed. We as Christians do not have faith in faith. But if we have faith, we have faith in the sure knowledge of God, not believed only, but revealed to many witnesses: As God is my witness.
  14. ScottA

    Rapture Debate.

Exactly. Time is the convolution of what "is." That is what is meant by "confuse" or "confound" "their language" at the tower of Babel.
  15. ScottA

    Rapture Debate.

Context does not equal time...anymore than "Once Upon a Time." Time (history), is his story. That's all.
  16. ScottA

    Rapture Debate.

There is no "will be"...it is finished.
  17. ScottA

    Rapture Debate.

Time does not tick in the timeless kingdom of God.
  18. ScottA

    Rapture Debate.

This is man-speak: the understanding from the perspective of the world, as if the world were more than it is. From the eternal, non-timeline, non-historic, non-worldly perspective of God, however...there is no purgatory "paradise" of waiting. But, as it is written: "to be absent of the body, is...

    Rapture Debate.

Why do you speak of that which "was" for some, and now "is" for others, and "will be" for still others to come, as if all must wait for an event that is only future? Do you not know that the dead in Christ are risen already, and that we who "were" crucified with Him, "were" also raise up with...
