Dearest Ziggy,
The problem is, -- we can't save this or ANY Government, Nation, or World. There will be a ONE-WORLD-GOVERNMENT which will result in the Persecution of all who refuse the Mark of the Beast both by denying them the ability to Buy or Sell and also by penalty of Death. And this ONE-WORLD-GOVERNMENT will bring the nations of the world to the point of Global Thermonuclear War whereupon mankind will nearly be extinguished from the face of the earth but will stop short, which will allow some to survive.
So while men think as men, Christians need to understand what GOD is planning so that they can prepare both themselves and their households accordingly.
... and time is quickly running out ...

I read you there, especially the part about God is planning, and I think back on the old dark world histories, the slaughter, the oppression, the slavery, the terrors. And then reflect upon the world today and of the last say 20 years. The slaughter, the oppression, the slavery, the terrors. All within the presence of Omniscience.
And then I read that line again; God is planning....
What if, God gave us an intellect and then he gave us his wisdom, advice, guidance, through that which is inspired through his word. (In the beginning was the word and the word was with God and The Word was God), and now equipped with all that we are on our own. Because he sent his Apostles to spread that word and all these millennia later, these 2000+ years, we are able to either have The Word find us, or seek The Word for ourselves, and live and prepare accordingly.
What if that is what it means when we read, God planned....
So I have Sodom and Gamorrah on my mind today. And thinking about Lot vexing his soul daily among the evil all around him.
God always makes a way of escape for those who trust in him.
The Bible also warns us...
Remember Lots wife. If you put your hand to plow and move forward.. don't look back.
Don't be like those who were freed from Egypt wishing for the "good ole days" when they were slaves to the system.
Freedom can be a scary idea to some.
We will have to trust and lean on eachother. And days like these it's getting harder to know who to trust.
We been here before. And we will come through this again.
We must allow God to lead and put our trust in Him.
Many calling for justice.
Some even calling for war.
Just remember who is in control.
And lay your worries at the door.
2Pe 2:4 For if God spared not the angels that sinned, but cast them down to hell, and delivered them into chains of darkness, to be reserved unto judgment;
2Pe 2:5 And spared not the old world, but saved Noah the eighth person, a preacher of righteousness, bringing in the flood upon the world of the ungodly;
2Pe 2:6 And turning the cities of Sodom and Gomorrha into ashes condemned them with an overthrow, making them an ensample unto those that after should live ungodly;
2Pe 2:7 And delivered just Lot, vexed with the filthy conversation of the wicked:
2Pe 2:8 (For that righteous man dwelling among them, in seeing and hearing, vexed his righteous soul from day to day with their unlawful deeds
2Pe 2:9 The Lord knoweth how to deliver the godly out of temptations, and to reserve the unjust unto the day of judgment to be punished:

There is only one King of King's and Lord of Lord's.
And the exodus from Babylon has begun.
