Paul is talking about salvation of the soul in the Philippians. Paul isn't talking about redemption in the Corinthians passage. Christ is the only person who can redeem someone.

Negative. Christ is our redeemer. He is the sole redeemer and only he can redeem someone. Period.
We participate in other ways but not in redemption or salvation. Consider the following passage.

You understand? Salvation is the purview of God himself.
