What does this mean? The promise is the promise; grace is grace.

Promise: a declaration or assurance that one will do a particular thing or that a particular thing will happen.
Grace: the spontaneous, unmerited gift of the divine favor in the salvation of sinners, and the divine influence operating in individuals for their regeneration and sanctification.
Promise is Grace.

Promise is Grace.

Again...

Promise: a declaration or assurance that one will do a particular thing or that a particular thing will happen.
Grace: the spontaneous, unmerited gift of the divine favor in the salvation of sinners, and the divine influence operating in individuals for their regeneration and sanctification.

They are clearly different.

39 For the promise is unto you,...

The promise is Grace(Holy Ghost).

....Grace

"Grace" doesn't appear here. That is your (mis)interpretation.

Grace and promise are two different things.

And again...

Promise: a declaration or assurance that one will do a particular thing or that a particular thing will happen.
Grace: the spontaneous, unmerited gift of the divine favor in the salvation of sinners, and the divine influence operating in individuals for their regeneration and sanctification.

Where does it say that the promise is the same grace? And why do you believe in ghosts?

The promise of the OT became Grace at Pentecost.

It coexisted dispensationally in the OT with Law.

It still does.

Promise becomes Grace, then becomes the Millennial reign.

16 Now to Abraham and his seed were the promises made. He saith not, And to seeds, as of many; but as of one, And to thy seed, which is Christ.

17 And this I say, that the covenant, that was confirmed before of God in Christ, the law, which was four hundred and thirty years after, cannot disannul, that it should make the promise of none effect.

18 For if the inheritance be of the law, it is no more of promise: but God gave it to Abraham by promise.

The Holy Ghost(Christ) is the promise.

Splendid deduction .....Now, do you have a point as you try to defect from the debate that you are losing?
You don't believe the promise was Christ(Grace)?

You must be thinking of some other fella's promise.

Read the Bible, not wikepedia.

You don't believe that promise and Grace were simultaneously existing at the same time taught by Paul?

You don't think Jesus is the Holy Ghost promise?

You are a preacher?

A promise is a promise; grace is grace. They are entirely different.

Okay preacher.

You know the Bible...

Question, did(does) promise and Law co-exist?
