If you're predictions don't come true, aren't you just lying to yourself?

That's my biggest problem with people and their ideas lately for things to come.

There are a lot of unanswered questions, don't you have a few of yourself ?

Needless to say, the Scriptures as we have it, is all we need.

But the final testament is not yet written, we will know at God's time, Filipp 2:10-11 comes to mind.

Do you claim that GOD was incapable of ensuring the Bible we have today is all that He wants us to know ?
God is sovereign and is showing His capabilities to ensure His plan, His script, His will is being carried out. This means the inclusion of everything that exits in its time. This includes the many bibles, the Quran (Islam), the Vedas (Hinduism), and the Tripitaka (Buddhism).

My response to your question would be to a YES if you didn't add the word 'all'.

Hey,

I don't have many questions these days. Just hope, faith, and love when it is coming from the Spirit of Christ.

Paul did not decide what was and was not to be included in scripture, nor any man or group of men.
Putting aside 'all scripture' What about the various bibles? Who decided on what books were in or out? Who decided if and when the biblical canons should be closed?

It is all the Word whether seemingly by one source or another. Those are all God speaking in His way. That has not changed--God has not changed.
Yes, there are various means through which the Holy Spirit is delivering every word that proceeds from the mouth of God.
As for the church, no the body does not speak, but the Head. Those of the church, thus either speak of their own against the command of God to be silent, or it is not them who speak but the Spirit who speaks.
Yes, the Holy Spirit in the members of the church speaks through the members of the church to bring ongoing words from the mouth of God. God has not stopped speaking to His people.

There is recorded history by Josephus that will open up the destruction ie: the Wrath of God on those 12 tribes in that day.

As I've asked others who have made this statement. When did the Holy Spirit tell you this? As this doesn't appear in the bibles or even in the limited scriptures we have available.

I mean it could be in the scriptures that we don't have access to. But how would you know?

Deut 29:29 “The secret things belong to the LORD our God, but the things that are revealed belong to us and to our children forever, that we may do all the words of this law.

But there is also :

Amos 3:7 “For the Lord GOD does nothing without revealing his secret to his servants the prophets.

Makes me wonder what has been revealed after the closing of the Scriptures.

When YOU say, the Scriptures as we have it, is all we need, need for what?

Efez 3:7 Of this gospel I was made a minister according to the gift of God's grace, which was given me by the working of his power.
Efez 3:8 To me, though I am the very least of all the saints, this grace was given, to preach to the Gentiles the unsearchable riches of Christ,
Efez 3:9 and to bring to light for everyone what is the plan of the mystery hidden for ages in God who created all things,
Efez 3:10 so that through the church the manifold wisdom of God might now be made known to the rulers and authorities in the heavenly places.

What to think about verse 10 ?

The church (us) teaching the rulers and authorities in the heavenly places ?

How ?

And who are the rulers and authorities in the heavenly places ?

Seems I am missing a lot.

What men may have meant for evil, God has meant for good. He alone has dominion and providence over His word--for His own purpose.

Yes, but do be careful regarding the church wherein there are also false teachers foretold causing the believing of a lie and strong delusion. And it is also God's way to speak through any of His choosing, even by a donkey or a pagan king.

To the church the finish of the mystery of God is given. Which those who went before, even elders, even the patriarchs, even Abraham, did not see until their passing (in the heavenly places).

Confirming that you believe :-
GOD was & is NOT powerful enough to ensure the Bible (eg NASB, KJV etc) we have today is ALL that He wants us to know.

I definitely don't believe that the bibles we have today contain ALL the words of God which He has communicated to us thus far. Far from it. A fraction yes.

It's like someone gathered 66, 73, 80 buckets of water from the ocean and say this is ALL the ocean, or enough ocean you need to understand the whole ocean.

So it's not if God has power to achieve anything He desires. Of course He does.

Has God given us ALL we need to know and put ALL that information the bibles. NO!

I ask you Protestants, where in your bibles did God specify say He was going to provide you with a 66 book bible?

I ask you Catholics, where in your bibles did God specify say He was going to provide you with a 73 book bible?

Surely with the massive emphasis and reliance you place on your bibles as God's only source of Truth for the church, He wouldn't have left it to humans to continuously debate and argue on what it should contain.

Have you got a copy of ALL SCRIPTURE. If you do then many people would find it beneficial and profitable for sure.
It's called the Christian Bible. If you don't know that, why are you in a Christian Forum attacking the Bible???

Oh that's right, you're listening to doctrines of demons!

You know that there are many bibles out the ATM. Many with 73 books. Many added to this one and ended up with 80 eg. KJV. Then some which removed 16 books to form 66 book bibles. All are referred to as Christian bibles, whether words or whole books were added or removed.

Then there is ALL SCRIPTURE. No one knows what they are. They were obviously individual books, some were lost, some destroyed, others hidden and some found their way into the bibles we have today.

There is One Who knows every word and therefore ALL SCRIPTURE and that is the Person Who communicated these words of God to humans. Holy Spirit Who lives in us Who God chose to redeem. So we can get Divine truth and revelation straight from Him and receive more of ALL SCRIPTURE the just isn't in the bibles.

This is awesome! I love Him and His words of life.

Caths/Pros agree on the NT books.
The NT books teach how believers today are saved.
----
I'll reword the question for you :)
Do you claim that GOD was/is not powerful enough to ensure the Bible today is sufficient to teach how a person today is saved ?
