That's no way to insult the Andromeda galaxy. What has it ever done to you? ;):p

I too have become grumpier since this whole election thing got screwy. Perhaps it is because there is so much weighing on the final outcome as pertains to the future of our country and to what side we arrive.

Though we're not part of this world the goings on in this world do impact our lives. And of course our faith's free right to practice. Just think of how many Christians have been effected by the lock down. While the secular worlds vice spaces, like casinos, bars, are very often granted more rights than the churches.

When I first got involved as a political activist it was very easy to see all the wrongs that need to be addressed and then, to think of how much work there was to do to make changes in those areas.
After awhile the old axiom, pick your battles, started to resonate.

Yours is a great testimony. Thank you for sharing your very personal struggle and journey with us. God bless.

Well said, and I resemble your post in many ways.

I do always believe first, our Lord is the final say, arbiter, and how my mind and spirit should finish the 'day,' on his terms. It does keep me with a clearer spiritual perspective on the things that especially bother me today.

I do not have any problem separating the evil within some people and the goodness they may have in or out of the political arena. I can only believe that their goodness comes from God, as I would likewise want others also to see and believe me in the same light. I also believe that the evil I see 'in' people, judged over time, whether they or I label them as extreme liberals, 'left of left,' socialists or communists are those of a misguided or easily influenced spirit, manipulated by the invisible evil armies of real hate and disdain for our Lord.

Bless you,

APAK

Are you saying that you're not going to be on the internet then? :(

I'm saying that at some point there will be no internet as society realizes how bad it has been used as the pendulum* has swung very far to left and now it's overdue to swing back to the right. As Jeff Goldblum said just because you can do something doesn't mean you should and with the internet it started out good but has ended up brainwashing people into immorality and progressive communism. I am a bit of a Luddite (Definition of LUDDITE) even though I am a Computer tech because I have seen how the internet and computers have made society worse.

I have always wished I lived in a simpler more moral time. My vintage ideas at first went to the 80's which is the decade I grew up in and now I find myself longing for the good old days. I have a subscription to the good old days magazine which has stories about the good old days (30's,40's,50's) and I know life was hard back Then but it was in many ways better. I love Big Band music (Glen Miller, etc) and I love Old Time Radio. I am an old soul plop down in modern times

hopefully I am not to long winded here :)

But I do agree that a seeking after the gifts at the expense of Christian morality would be a terrible mistake.
I think seeking gifts for gift's sake, or seeking morality for morality's sake, either point us in the wrong direction. Seeking Christ alone, and receiving all He gives for whatever reason He wants, I think this is a good direction.

Much love!

Premature . . .

If the House objects to the elector's votes, it becomes a matter for the House and the Senate, whether they will reject the vote or not. If the House and Senate go on to elect the president, votes are proportioned by state, and Republicans outnumber in that count.

More evidence is coming out daily supporting the fraud accusations. While we've learned that the courts won't do their job, some of the state legislatures are, issuing more subpoenas for the tampered with machines, signature audits, and the like. You'll never hear about it on MSNBC.

Much love!

Exactly. The libs want the steal all over.

Anther thing I was thinking that if we look in history when mankind got advanced to a certain point technologically speaking mankind was always pushed back by something, someone, some force (I believe it was a person, anyone care to guess :) ) and we according to history are way overdue for a push back. Maybe the way everything is going 2020 is the start of the push back of mankind getting to advanced. Just an idea

I did a survey once of everything that happened in 1948. The birth of planned parenthood. Kinsey releases his "study" on human sexuality. The Big Bang is postulated. Of course Isreal declares sovereignty.

And the first commercial application of the newly invented transistor, in a transistor radio. Which has now become MSNBC and porn sites. OH yes and smart phone tracker/indoctrinators.

God uncorked the bottle I think!

Much love!

Excellent quote. I need to save this to file, LoL, cuz it's one statement we are in total agreement on.

I would have never thought the House could be persuaded to break party ranks, but if the fraud is obvious enough by then, there could be a situation where a majority feels like they have no choice to challenge the results.

So my apologies for being pessimistic. I think I've always been that way when it comes to Washington D.C., LoL, but no time to give up hope now. :)

There are even two Senators who are on broad to challenge the results Rand Paul and Mo Brooks and the Senate is now divided because of Mitch McConnell who showed his true colors on the floor of the Senate.

Rand Paul Considering Objecting to Electoral College Votes in the Senate - Big League Politics

These are interesting times

Indeed. And Rand Paul won't back down either (Lord knows what's happening with Mitch McConnell, but I wouldn't put it past him to go turncoat if they put some real heat on him or his family). I remember back during the BLM riots when a group of demonstrators surrounded Paul and his wife and they were fearing for their lives. If they think he's forgotten that, they can think again. You don't threaten a man's wife and expect him not to remember you for it.

Trouble is, it will take more and greater revelations of fraud. There are other leading Republicans in the Senate who are currently not behind rejecting the electoral college votes:
Senior Republicans accept Biden as president-elect, reject talk of overturning election

I suppose it's time to create a thread for it, since I don't think there is one specifically for it yet.

Looks like this thread has veered back into the subject of division, voter fraud, them against us, etc. We need some God-love up in here!

I don't know that song(??). I just know I really like this one. Have you listened to it? My kids and I would turn it up and roll the windows down and let it blast, singing along, had a great time! lol

Here's another song we really need to take to heart.
