n2thelight,I do believe that when we die we go directly to God when we are a believer in Jesus! My point inmentioning this was that the saints are with Jesus when He makes his Triumphant return.Kriss,You are partially wrong about flesh not being able to go to Heaven!Eljah, was taken to Heaven in his flesh, Enoch, was taken in his flesh to Heaven. Also when Jesus rose from the dead it says that the craves where opened, and the Old Testament Saints walked around testifying of God!If these old testament saints were just spiritual beings, why did the graves have to be opened? Also in the Great White Throne judgement it says that the sea will give up the dead!Spirits that are not saved go directly to hell when they die.So what is the sea giving up at the Great White Throne Judgement?
Dear JodyBe careful with your words Jody...I Corinthians 15:50 - Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption.(Kriss correct me if I'm wrong please due to the fact that I can't bring myself to read the rest of the OT and/or reread other parts of the OT)Seeing how flesh and blood can not inherit the kingdom of God... (I Corinthians 15:50) I would very much believe the fact that Enoch and Elijah was translated into spiritual bodies without the taste of the flesh death.P.S. No matter how much I repeat truth, it never gets boring. The only boring part is the men's doctrine that try to fit into God's Words.Jag
