I have no problem with that at all. My problem is with those who claim there should be no separation, and are even now forming a union in order to "Christianise" America through legislation. I see great dangers in that not just for those whose Christian principles don't align with the "common good" philosophy being marketed, but for your nation as a whole.
If this is still about Project 25- we talked about that a few yrs ago.. did you ever get a copy of the book they had out? It's been revised a zillion times now. There is not one thing in it that even slightly resembles a Sunday law. Absolutely Nothing.
There is even an SDA who is for it all. Ben Carson.
So whoever is feeding you these lies is not being honest with you.
The only things in it that could be called "Christian" but certainly not limited to Christians - would be this which is-
taken straight from a very detailed rebuttal to project 25 by a current leftist Congressman- he is outraged by this--

"Vought has close ties to Christian nationalist William Wolfe, who has advocated for overturning same-sex marriage, ending abortion, and reducing access to contraceptives. “

Please understand that Nationalist doesn't mean anything like what they try to make it sound like. It is a term made up to sound scary for the left. Propaganda- to them anyone patriotic or moral ---and not left leaning is a "white" nationalist, or a "christian" nationalist etc
They mean nothing other than- be very afraid- don't vote for them! Hitler is coming- scare tactics of the left and all they do is lie to keep votes of the antichrist left. They called trump a nationalist- because he wanted to make America his top priority. Isn't that what all presidents should do? Globalists do not agree with that.

Plus the fact that let's pretend the USA made a you can only go to church on Sunday "law":- That would enrage Jews, Muslims and frankly most of the nation- not only SDA's. I don't think people would cooperate.-- But how does a US law control the globe? It doesn't.
The other thing is this- IF that happened why couldn't SDAs gather on Sunday and still keep the Sabbath on Saturday in your home?
The Sabbath doesn't require you to go to church. Just rest from work-

Do you understand that we also have Marxists here and all sorts of crazy ideas?
The Constitution makes it impossible to Christianize thru legislation. That's precisely what the 1st amendment says. The government can not tell us what faith to be, or how to practice it, or make any LAW forcing anyone to be any certain faith.

We have people here constantly yelling "separation of church and state" when they have no idea what it means, or that it is not even Constitutional language. I gave you the amendment. Did you see that?

Finally this read up on the Heritage Foundation- This is who you are afraid of. There is nothing to be afraid of.
There are articles about project 25- do search on there. It is nothing to be concerned about.

Are you confusing project 25 with the UN Agenda 2030? (formerly agenda 21). They are NOTHING alike at all.

The corrupt media has made frenzy over them as the left politicians have-- because they are Christians who want to end abortions and gay marriages.
Notice they never speak about UN Agenda 21/2030. Now, that is something to be concerned about. And it IS happening.

What legislation are you talking about?
SDA's believe that a group of Christians will influence the government to make a Sunday law that prevents them from going to church on Saturdays.
It's false- the group they focus on is doing no such thing and even has an SDA member backing them.
.
For SDA's this is from their prophet (Ellen White) who taught that the mark of beast will be going to church on Sundays and they will all be persecuted.
This is all fear based on wrong information and it's really sad. But I can never get them to listen. It's their main claim.

It reminds me of Jws listening to their prophet and the unfounded fears they believe. Both groups came out of the Millerites as well as other groups after their prophecy for Jesus' return did not come true.
They have several things in common.-- many things different - both are "the only true church".

I remember the Blue Laws. All businesses and State and Federal places were closed on Sunday.
But no one said you had to do anything like go to church on that day.
Only the little convenience stores were open. I don't even think gas stations were open.

When was that like in the 70's?
Eventually the blue laws disappeared.
I would have to go back and research on it.

Historical Background

The earliest American blue laws date back to the colonial period. Virginia enacted a law in 1610 requiring Sunday church attendance, while Massachusetts passed a law in 1671 banning unnecessary work, travel, and recreation on Sundays. The term "blue laws" may have originated from Connecticut laws described by Reverend Samuel Peters in 1781 or as a reference to Puritanical strictness, though the exact origin remains uncertain. These laws were enforced to regulate morality, including prohibitions on gambling, dancing, and alcohol consumption.

So prior to America having it's own Constitution and still under British rule.
It carried over from colonialism even to the Supreme Court under the New Constitution.

In the United States, the Supreme Court has upheld blue laws as constitutional if they serve a secular purpose, such as providing a day of rest, even though they originated from religious motivations. The landmark case McGowan v. Maryland (1961) confirmed that Sunday closing laws are permissible under the Constitution when justified for secular reasons, like worker protection and societal stability.

So it went from mandated to permissible in 1961 for secular reasons.
Interesting.

Today, blue laws are unevenly enforced across the U.S., with many states repealing or relaxing them, while others maintain specific restrictions . Alcohol sales are the most common remaining restriction, with states like Texas, Utah, and Mississippi limiting Sunday sales. Car dealerships are prohibited from operating on Sundays in several states, including Illinois, Indiana, and New Jersey. Hunting restrictions persist in states such as Maine, Massachusetts, and Connecticut. Local jurisdictions, like Bergen County, New Jersey, enforce broader retail restrictions, including bans on clothing, electronics, and furniture sales on Sundays.

Blue laws are not unique to the U.S. In Europe, countries like Germany, Austria, Norway, and Poland enforce Sunday closures for retail stores, while others, such as Denmark and the Netherlands, have relaxed restrictions but maintain certain limits to protect church services.

The only places I know of that are closed on Sundays are your State and Federal Government entities, like the United States Post Office.
Courthouses, even though I have noticed that some cases are even being held on Sundays lately. Your City Hall or State Capitol.
But the people aren't under law to observe it for religious reasons.

So originally there was a Sunday Law that was under British Rule until 1776 when we FOUGHT for our Independence from both the King and the Pope.

If we hadn't FOUGHT for our Independence we would still be subject to Britain and probably Rome as well.

People say we shouldn't fight, we shouldn't defend our faith, we should just submit to the devil and call it a day.
I disagree.

Well the topic of the thread is meant to make people aware of what is going on behind the scenes in our Government.
Although the discussion of what or which denomination is right or wrong is not the core message.
The message is or the question is:
Why is the Pentagon making lists of peoples religious preferences?
That's what I really would like to get to the bottom of.
And I put this thread here so you would all be aware that something don't feel right.
We are in the middle of a war with the Islamic Republic of Iran.
China for the most part is not a friend of Jesus.
The Europeans have gone woke and are being run over by the Islamists.
Christians are being slaughtered in Nigeria.

The world has become a dangerous place for those who profess Jesus as Lord.

So what is our government up to?
Will we be defended or given over to the wolves?

Psyops everywhere, all the time every day. It's getting exhausting.
But we can't just give up our faith and our beliefs.
It's almost as if we are living in Acts 2.0
I refuse to go "underground" and hide my Faith.
The question is:
Will you be willing to fight for it?

I think we're going to find out.
soon,

Hugs
I think you hit the proverbial "nail on the head" with that post! :vgood:

Is it "time" for Christianity to "STAND" for our beliefs?

Or?

Become "martyrs" like so many "ducks on a conveyor" at the "carnival shootin' gallery?"

Only BEEN 2200+ years folks!

Keep yer powder dry folks!
Perhaps? The "pacifistic ones'" could keep those in the "front lines" supplied with ammo when things get "Western!"
Doesn't take all that good a sniffer to smell there's "SOMETHING ROTTEN IN DENMARK!"
That is?
Except "THESE GUYS!

If you don't know what that means, learn history.
Or just watch

Where did the Steele Dossier come from?
Who is Steele?
Some talk about the Beast controlling the world.
There is only One that fits that shoe and it began with colonizing all around the world.
Not just the America's.

Why is it that every time the United States has a social or political issue,
Let's take the George Floyd riots for instance and Black Lives Matter,
Why is it that the very same protests broke out across Europe?
What concern was it of theirs concerning our own social and political issues?
Where did the money go that was sent to Ukraine?
Why are we telling the EU to fund the war themselves?
