Most "charity" is nothing more to feel good about ourselves. We give gifts to those we believe merit it.

When we give to the poor God blesses us with the fruits of the Holy Spirit of Peace, Love and Joy (Galatians 5:22-23). The fruits of the Holy Spirit are heavenly gifts from God.

The poor are usually the mentally insane. They are all over the place here. The system rejects their disability payments and they get kicked out for being so strange and sometimes dangerous. They end up on the streets and need our help, since the gov doesn't take care of them. They fall into a viscous cycle where they have no access to medication. Which only perpetuates their homelessness.

You're ignoring the vast majority of the poor that do not earn a living wage and struggle endless to provide for themselves and others.

Again. Human beings create the poor and then hook them on their charity to make them feel better about themselves.

Democrats do that here in the USA. They are the rich politicians that raise taxes and inflation and make most people poor. Republicans proudly deny that title.
