By your resoning every one who claims they are a Christian is part of the elect.

oh i am a false convert, but i still believe in the gospel. I believe in the doctrine of election 100%, and thats how i know im not of the elect.

If you have repented, if you believe in the Father, Son and Holy Spirit, the death and resurrection of Jesus, the redemption from sin, if you have asked Jesus into your life, you have been washed by His blood, then you are part of the elected.

thatssss not how it works. If you do all that you said, yet dont show signs of regeneration, then you arent born again. This goes back to the book of James. Even the demons believe the gospel, yet arent saved. Belief isnt the be all, end all.

What reason would God have of creating people who, no matter how good they were, couldn't go to heaven?
