I just got back from our second visit to Mayo's, and just decided to check out this thread again. Looks like it didn't really go anywhere since. But I still wanted to respond to 'our' last post. Now I see you asked me to 'keep you all posted', so I will. But I'll limit tags to just those who did respond to my one post.

The last Neurologist we talked to Friday morning said Lewy Body Dementia is definitely off the list. That was the one where prognosis was "poor".....I'll agree with that. From my reading, it was 'no cure, but a good possibility of death after aspirating your own vomit...but if you survived that, it was to then die of pneumonia.' I wasn't going that route. But I didn't leave Mayo's with an "All is well." dx., either. They want me back in the Fall to be seen by a Dysautonomia Neurologist. He is booked out that far. Google says only 52-72 in the US.

A Daunting situation to have to even fathom the number of families that are faced with such a conversation and decision.

Seems to me, the unbearable pain, literal quality of life, and prayer…would be the consideration.

Void of the prayer aspect would imo, be stress heightened greatly.

Surely a personal discussion, regardless of legalities input. IMO.

Very sorry for any family having such an issue.

Of course those ignorant of what God teaches in His Word would have no comment on those who are murdering themselves leading them to spend eternity in hell.

Murder is sinful behavior and these people want to murder themselves so they are not repenting of murder asking for forgiveness after doing the murderous sinful dead of self murder and so they burn for eternity.

Not letting people know what happens if they self murder is being led by demons as they desperately wanting to deceive as many as they can in to murdering themselves so they can get a good laugh at how easy it is to deceive people in to sending themselves to hell.

Those that self murder (commit suicide) are in violation of these biblical truths:

Went on nicotine patches last year. Saw benefits to the 'syndrome'. Bought the next box of highly recommended Rugby nicotine patches, cheaper online. But I saw no more improvement. Just discovered, last week, that China has been copying and selling online worthless RUGBY nicotine patches and the box looks just like the real product which does still work. But it must be bought at a bonafide drugstore like Walgreen's....which costs more. I just started Rugby patches again last night.

I've tried the nicotine patches but it raised my heart rate. Does it affect your heart at all? I cut them down to 1 or 2mg, even. I may try it again, but 0.5mg for awhile and see where it goes. Nicotine is in foods, so our bodies need a certain amount. It's also anticancer.

I don't remember hearing anything like that. But this is a 3 hour video I highly recommend to many. When my brother in law sent it I remember thinking; "You got to be kidding me, a 3 hour video...ain't no way I'm listening to that. But we were driving 8 hours to Dallas to see kids and decided to listen 'with my eyes closed' just to say I honestly did listen to it. Murderers are not rewarded with Heaven and true believers do not self murder.

No, depression is a result of one opening their lives up to demons allowing them to come in and make them nuts.

Before I got born again and even as a baby Christian I experienced much very deep depression that led me to want to self murder but then I found out those were demons influencing me so I grew up spiritually by standing on God's Word and cast those demons out!

The darkened wisdom of mankind claims depression is a mental illness because they are ignorant of what's really going on and ignorant of spiritual warfare as they are still servants of their father the devil, so they not only don't know what's going on but they are helpless to be able to do anything about it. You should meet the Lord Jesus and learn how His Word can deliver you!
