Hi all,

Please enjoy my latest video.
Title: Balancing the Scale

Today we are going to talk about balancing the scale. What do I mean? We are talking about “the steelyard,” the measuring scale, we all carry around within us, by which we measure justice, fairness, and equity. We aren't talking about a blindfolded woman holding scales and a sword. We are talking about fair play, forgiveness, pardon, lenience, grace and mercy.

Let me know what you think.

From the script:
To balance our scale, we need honest weights. Differing weights are an abomination to the Lord. Do we honestly expect God to justify those who carry around wicked scales and a bag full of deceptive weights?

Maybe I do; for when I sin against you, I want God to forgive me; but when you sin against me, I want God to punish you. What am I, a cheater? I guess I would be if I carried around different, dishonest weights. I would be a dishonest cheater if I measured your sins with one set of weights and my sins with another set of weights.

What did Jesus say, "love those who hate you? Pray for those who persecute you?
