Just wanted to point out that it isn't the majority of members accusing you of not being a Christian...one in particular...is there someone else?An innocent question here... So for you, these Denominations aren't Spirit-filled?
I now belong to an Episcopal church and before that was raised Catholic, I can assure you, I am Spirit-filled, even though I do not speak in tongues or pray in tongues. It is by the Spirit that I am able to stay calm while being told that I am not a Christian on these very forums. It is the very Spirit that brings to my mind things to say when I do not have the words to say myself.
This reminds me of Madame O'Hara who was spotlighted in the media back in the 70's. She was an atheist and challenged the Supreme Court over violation of her religious freedom because her children were forced to participate in prayer at school. She said it was a violation to force them to participate in the Christian beliefs when their belief opposed it. She won her case and all public schools were ordered to stop prayer in school.
One person affected an entire nation.
One person...how pitiful the power of one voice had...why? Because the voices of the majority would not rise up against her....imho.
