you cannot disprove it so just call it garbage, the truth is not garbage the truth is not something but somebody Jesus is the truth
Yes the truth is not garbage what you are selling is, you should take a sniff of it one day... will you forever deny the one who is the truth... or will your religion be all you ever sell,

the Bible does not teach a nondenominational church or any denominations only the one true church founded by Jesus Christ on Peter and the apostles Matt 16:18 jn 10:16
The Popes, Cardinals, Bishops, and Priests, of the Roman Catholic Church, have proved otherwise.
Quite resting on your naive and indoctrinated ideals, thee faith. You sound blind as a bat, and over-zealous for an entity that has neither warranted nor justified your devotion.
Open your eyes, your allegiance is blind and misguided.

As the Bible refers to something other than the Bible alone then the doctrine of the “Bible Alone” or sola is NOT biblical and false doctrine!

Acts 2:42 And they continued stedfastly in the apostles' doctrine and fellowship, and in breaking of bread, and in prayers.

The church is the pillar and ground of truth! 1 Tim 3:15
To limit one's knowledge and revelation to one bible is rather foolish. The Bible itself says that all the books written could not contain everything that Jesus said so if you inspiratiion is the bible alone then you are actively shutting yourself off from revelation that came from Jesus that is not written in the bible.

If Jesus speaks to you personally he is not going to say something that is contrary to what the bible says, but he might say something that is not in the bible but gives us a greater understanding of himself and God. In other words, he is adding to what he has already said and has been recorded.

Revelation is something that is ongoing and is part of our walk with Jesus. For example, when I was the guest speaker at a Full Gospel Business man's Fellowship breakfast, I offered prayer at th end of my speaking. Several said they wanted me to pray for them and God said " don't ask them what they want prayer for, I will tell you."

I went to the first couple and knelt beside them, waited a moment and the word incest came to me. I prayed accordingly. That was revelation that was right on the ball. Was it in scripture? No. Was it right? Yes.

So do what the scripture says and that is to walk in the Spirit because he will lead you into all truth. That is where your faith comes in. How do I knowe what is being said to me is from God. The only way I know is to listen and act. Practice makes perfect.

just not biblical

only God can forgive sins? Really?

John 20:21-23
21 Then said Jesus to them again, Peace be unto you: as my Father hath sent me, even so send I you.

22 And when he had said this, he breathed on them, and saith unto them, Receive ye the Holy Ghost:

23 Whose soever sins ye remit, they are remitted unto them; and whose soever sins ye retain, they are retained.

paul says
2 Cor 1:1 Paul, an apostle of Jesus Christ

2 Corinthians 5:18
And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation;

only the apostles have ministry

All may be ambassadors but only the apostles have authority to teach Matt 28:19 the people are being taught and made disciples by baptism

the great commission is only to the apostles and their successors

It is not our blood that forgives sin, it is not our power that does this, we as believers are steward's of the Grace of God, the ministry of reconciliation is pointing a person to the cross where the blood of Jesus cleanses the sinner, We as ambassadors do forgive those who trespass against us, but our forgiveness apart from the blood of Christ is powerless. I said so in my comment, perhaps you missed it, here it is....
and we are all called to forgive those who have offended us and restore them to their rightful relationship should they repent, But the Forgiveness of sins and the washing is Of God by the Blood of the Lamb.

To claim otherwise is to make of the blood of God of none effect. Telling us that we have to add our forgiveness in order for forgiveness to occur. We as ambassadors of his grace are called to forgive those who offend us, in the hopes of God Bringing them to repentance, Just as Stephen did while being Stoned in the presence of Saul. And he kneeled down, and cried with a loud voice, Lord, lay not this sin to their charge. And when he had said this, he fell asleep. (Acts 7:60) This sort of selfless act of forgiveness is what John 20:21-23 speaks of.

To be an apostle means to be Sent, a sent one. We are all "sent" to make disciples, the great commission is a mandate for every Believer, not just a select class of priests, we are all priests, we are all brothers.

Jesus In His High priestly prayer said the following: As thou hast sent me into the world, even so have I also sent them into the world. (speaking of the Apostles) And for their sakes I sanctify myself, that they also might be sanctified through the truth. Neither pray I for these alone, but for them also which shall believe on me through their word; (Notice how now he extends this promise to all who believe their ministry) That they all may be one; as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us: that the world may believe that thou hast sent me. (John 17:18-21), (Thus we all are sent and are one)

The Opposite of this is what Nicolaitanism is all about. Nico means to rule over to conquer, Laitan means the people, the the laity. This group of people committed Balaam's error, that is to seek gain from the gifts given them in the form of power and wealth from the people/laity. This is exactly what many church hierarchies do What the Vatican does, what the prosperity preachers do, and Jesus says he hates this mindset, because it robs the glory from God, and causes the laity to remain suckling on the breast rather than going out and fulfilling the great commission. Which also again, violates Jesus' teaching in Matthew 23:4-12.

Again, this is not just a catholic problem, but stems all denominations and churches, For example , no doctrine has done more to thwart the Great commission than Calvinism does, with their limited atonement, this is nothing more than a Nicolaitan doctrine denies certain men salvation while granting it to a select group who are predestined. But this is another subject.

So the question for you is, are you going to blindly follow the Nicolaitans in the Vatican, Or are you willing to make Christ the head, your all in all, and become a member of the true body of Christ, where we are all Brethren in Christ Jesus, in a unity of the Spirit, not of ecumenism, and a unity of Balaam's error?

I see, I assumed that it was presented to disparage the RCC, my mistake.
Thank you for that brief insight, that makes a great deal of sense. ...which is the reason why I am non-denominational. That is, contrary to theefaith and BOL, Marymog, etc,.. I don't believe that apostolic succession has remained within one circumscribable entity, anywhere in the world. All denominations, despite many of their individual congregants still being saved, have exposed their infallibility, contradictions and heresies. And, I believe that the article that you offered underscores that point very well.
Thanks again!
read my latest comment to Theefaith as this will help you see my view point. Most people in churches are victims of this mindset, which keeps them in a state of complacency and dependency and suckling on the milk of doctrine, when they ought to be teachers themselves as the author of Hebrews speaks of (Hebrews 5:12-14)

That was extremely well written and insightful, ...and to a large degree, irrefutable.
...but, not to detract from your acumen on this matter, but you are absolutely wasting your time with such solicitude and rationality with @theefaith .
He's as closed minded and indoctrinated as they come. He's not comprehensive or open-minded on any level in his argumentation, and appears to be just a waste of time.
All the same, you posted your thesis on a public forum, therefore, others will read it and gain a benefit, as I did.
Thank you!

public revelation was given in entire to the apostles by Christ Jude 1:3 eph 4:5
Private revelation may be granted by the Hs or angels

20 For it is written in the book of Psalms, Let his habitation be desolate, and let no man dwell therein: and his office let another take.

what office?

So than how are you to be saved, by your religion, its not biblical, unless you count the "come out of her My people" bit

Redemption, Justification, Sanctification, and Salvation!

Redemption: 100 percent the work of God, thru the life, death, resurrection, and ascension of Jesus Christ! All mankind are redeemed in Christ!
Galatians 3:13
Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law...

Justification: our acceptance of redemption thru faith and baptism! Become a disciple and member of Christ and His Church! Mk 16:16 He who believes and is baptized shall be saved.

Sanctification: the life of grace from the sacraments and holy sacrifice you of the mass, prayer, virture, and good works, the just living by faith, and faith working thru love!
All done in Christ thru His grace! Jn 15:5 I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.

Salvation: a christian in the state if grace at the moment of death we enter into the salvation of the Lord! Mt 24:44-47 faithful servant! Jn 15:1-5 abide in me. Mt 24:13 But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.

Thank you for the compliment. I Write these things as i am led to write them by the Holy Ghost. sometimes a seed takes time to gestate, and perhaps these words will do so in @theefaith or perhaps the word was meant for others to read and hear.

The Point being that @theefaith has a choice to make, one that is clearly expressed in the final question, which is whether he is going to obey the teachings of Jesus or the teachings of men who seek glory for themselves. Is he going to believe the Bible the inspired word of God, or the doctrines of men that contradict the Word of God. I Think he is mature enough to make this decision on his own, though it may not be now as he has so much involved in his proseletyzing for those Balaam like leaders.

It takes time to ween a child off of milk, there are many times they will gag on solid food because they are not used to it, but eventually they will come to appreciate it. My Prayer is that one day he will make the right choice, if not perhaps someone else who reads this someday will break free from the bonds of a nicolaitan leader, whether catholic, protestant or some other cult type of personality who leads by placing themselves on a pedestal and manipulates you with his authority.

As You can tell by His response, theefaith has no response, so the point has been made. He can only revert back to his dogma and cannot think for himself.
I rest my case.
As do I.

God Bless

Really?

opinions of men?

Lk 10:16
He who hears you hears me...

John 13:20
Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that receiveth whomsoever I send receiveth me; and he that receiveth me receiveth him that sent me.

btw what is wrong with dogmas?

It is obvious from the response above where you do not quote a scripture verse, and from this response that what has been said has put you on the defensive. When the defensive mindset takes over rational discussion ceases and entrenched warfare begins. entrenched warfare will only lead you further into bondage to the self deception you are under, and serves little or no purpose, as dialogue ceases and monologue begins, and i would rather "rest my case", than to entrench you further into deception. Do you understand?

One final question for you to consider, How do you know that I was not sent from the Lord to bring you this message? Refer to John 13:20 for the response.

the nature of apologetics is defense of “thee faith”

the nature of apologetics is defense of “thee faith”

apologetics
[əˌpäləˈjediks]
NOUN
  1. reasoned arguments or writings in justification of something, typically a theory or religious doctrine.
When reasoned argument ceases and defensiveness comes in then apologetics is just a battle of who can resist the other more, and is a waste of time. Apologetics is based on dialogue and debate not monologue and condescension. Not to mention the fact that you fail to respond to the points being made, and instead revert back to dogma of your church Which shows the manipulation you are under from them. You would do well to read the 8 parts of the following link on mind control in cults, not saying the catholic church is a cult, but that these tools are being employed by the vatican. the author of this comes from a mainline protestant background, and was a victim of this himself as you read you will see this, so this is not a hit piece on catholics but a tool to show people how mind control works. Read it with a self reflecting mindset, not one that sees this as an attack on you, ask yourself, am I being controlled in this way by my church? And if you are honest you will see the Truth.

Mind-Field: Eight Ways to Identify Religious Brainwashing (Part 1 of 8) | Liberty for Captives
Make sure you read all 8 Parts it should not take more than a half an hour of your time.
