Dear Behold,
You are not understanding the symbolism of Moses' bronze serpent. A person is not "born again" by looking at the bronze serpent.

Ive not posted anything about any serpent, bronze, or otherwise.

Jesus, who is not a Serpent, said this..

"you, must be born again"... and that is not by looking, but by the Holy Spirit.

if your baptized in fire. your doomed.. because only the chaff will be burned in the fire that shall never be quenched (hellfire)
Dear Eternally Grateful,
Chaff is a symbol for mankind's carnality. It is mankind's carnality that will be destroyed by the fire (judgment), not the person themselves:

1Cor 3:13 Every man’s work shall be made manifest: for the day shall declare it, because it shall be revealed by fire; and the fire shall try every man's work of what sort it is. 14 If any man's work abide which he hath built thereupon, he shall receive a reward. 15 If any man's work shall be burned, he shall suffer loss: but he himself shall be saved; yet so as by fire.

When a believer makes the transition from the Old Covenant to the New Covenant, they, too, will "brake in pieces" the brasen serpent and replace it with Christ.

When a person is born again, they have changed spiritual fathers.
They now have a new one... "Father God".
Formally, they were..."you are of YOUR father= the Devil".

Dear Behold,
Yes, that is true. But again, you are not understanding when a person changes fathers. They must receive both the Early and Latter Rains.

You keep looking for that rain.

I'll keep looking for that Rapture.

no prob.
Dear Behold,
There are no verses of scripture which teach a "rapture". It is a completely false teaching. The only event that will occur at the literal end of this age is the resurrection from the grave. All other prophecies are fulfilled within each of the Elect as it applies to their conversion.

As for the rain, I have already received the Early and Latter Rains. I received the Latter Rain after having been in the apostate church for my entire life up unto age 44. It was only then that my spiritual blindness was healed and the truth of scripture opened up for me. It was like when a light is suddenly turned on.

When we get our New Bodies, = Rapture.

This word "Rapture" is not found in the English bible, but neither is the word TESLA, yet, many own one.
Dear Behold,
Scripture calls that event the resurrection from the grave. It will only occur after the last Elect person has been converted. As for when that day will occur, there are no scriptures that say.

Dear Eternally Grateful,
You are not understanding the symbolism of Moses' bronze serpent. A person is not "born again" by looking at the bronze serpent. The bronze serpent represents Satan's "crooked way" which is based on man's works (the Old Covenant of Law). That is why a serpent was placed on the pole and is why the bronze serpent was later "broken into pieces".

2Kings 18:3 And he did that which was right in the sight of the LORD, according to all that David his father did. 4 He removed the high places, and brake the images, and cut down the groves, and brake in pieces the brasen serpent that Moses had made: for unto those days the children of Israel did burn incense to it: and he called it Nehushtan.

The Old Covenant was given first to lead us to the New Covenant.

John 3:14 And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of man be lifted up:

When a believer makes the transition from the Old Covenant to the New Covenant, they, too, will "brake in pieces" the brasen serpent and replace it with Christ.

Joe
,My friend, you are the one who does not understand

Jesus told Nicodemus how to be born again

As moses lifted the serpent. So must the son of man be lifted that whoever believes in hi will never die. But has eternal life or will live forever

Those who had been bitten were as good as dead. They could not save themselves. God told moses to lift the serpent and whoever looks will be saved.

John said he will baptize with the HS and with fire.

Everyone will be baptized by Jesus

those baptised wiht the HS will be put int he barn or heaven

those who are not will be burned with a fire that shall never be quenched. There is only one fire that is spoken of in that term, that is hellfire

Dear Eternally Grateful,
The symbol "serpent" is never used in scripture to represent Christ - not one time. In every instance, it is used to represent Satan and/or his fallen angels.

Satan is also called the "crooked serpent". The crooked way that Satan teaches is the way of man's "works". The Old Covenant of Law is also based on man's works and that is why Moses lifted up a serpent in the wilderness. Under the Old Covenant of Law, the Israelites (through animal sacrifices) could temporarily receive life. That is what the bronze serpent represented. It does not represent the Christ and the New Covenant of Grace through Faith.

When Christ was lifted up on the cross, He replaced the serpent Moses lifted up. That is why Hezekiah (a man of faith) broke the bronze serpent into the pieces. Once a believer enters the New Covenant by faith, they too will brake the bronze serpent.

Dear Eternally Grateful,
A person cannot be converted unless they are judged by Christ. Fire is the symbol for Christ's judgment:

Mark 9:49 For every one shall be salted with fire, and every sacrifice shall be salted with salt.

Christ also said this:

Luke 12:49 “I came to send fire on the earth, and how I wish it were already kindled!

Christ is not a monster who relishes burning mankind in fire. The reason He wished that His judgment (fire) had already started on the earth was because He longed to convert His Elect into the children of God. Conversion does not take place without judgment:

Mat 26:52 Then said Jesus unto him, put up again thy sword into his place: for all they that take the sword shall perish with the sword.

The Sword is a symbol for the Word of God. The Word of God is Christ. To be saved by Christ, we must perish by His Sword.

In Revelation 13, the Seven Headed Beast is a symbol for a "fallen away" believer who is controlled by the second beast (the spirit of anti-Christ). On the Seven Headed Beast, one of his heads had a deadly wound by the Sword. This wound occurred to the person when they received the Early Rain and were called into the church. But when the spirit of anti-Christ came and deceived the person, they "fall away" and the deadly wound by the Sword of Christ was healed. In other words, the believer's carnality was not slain but was in fact, made "worse than the first" (Mat 12:43:45) by the spirit of anti-Christ.

When Christ comes a second time to an Elect believer, Christ will strike another blow to their head. This is the Latter Rain. With the Latter Rain, the believer's spiritual blindness will be healed. With their blindness healed, the truth of Christ will destroy the Man of Sin who they became under Satan's influence:

2Thes 2:8 And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming:

The "spirit of His mouth" is the Christ's Sword:

Rev 1:16 And he had in his right hand seven stars: and out of his mouth went a sharp two-edged sword...

Without Christ's judgment, no one can be saved. Mankind's carnal nature must be destroyed in order to be saved. After it is, a person will then be governed by a new spiritual nature, one which the Holy Spirit gives them. This is conversion.

Stop looking for rain and start to look at the cross.

Rain will not save you
Dear Eternally Grateful,
Are you so blind that you cannot see that "rain" is a symbol for the Holy Spirit?

Joel 2:28 And it shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out my spirit upon all flesh; and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions:

Hos 6:3 Then shall we know, if we follow on to know the LORD: his going forth is prepared as the morning; and he shall come unto us as the RAIN, as the latter and former RAIN unto the earth.

I would stop trying to determine what you think things mean, and just read what the word says

John 3: 10 Jesus answered and said to him, “Are you the teacher of Israel, and do not know these things? 11 Most assuredly, I say to you, We speak what We know and testify what We have seen, and you do not receive Our witness. 12 If I have told you earthly things and you do not believe, how will you believe if I tell you heavenly things? 13 No one has ascended to heaven but He who came down from heaven, that is, the Son of Man [b]who is in heaven. 14 And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of Man be lifted up, 15 that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life. 16 For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. 17 For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved.

The serpent represented when Jesus would be lifted up.
