John further states that the sons of the devil are manifest that they don’t love their fellow man.

Yes....from my understanding is...the seed is the Holy Spirit, not sure what you believe? It’s fascinating to me that first John he states that for the Sons of God it is impossible that they don’t love one another.
Because His seed remains.
I guess the Sons of the devil aren’t Born Again.John further states that the sons of the devil are manifest that they don’t love their fellow man.
I believe that the Spirit of God was inside of Jesus reconciling Himself to the world, and that same spirit was within them. The fruit of that spirit is what made them appear as Christ,, so they were called Christians.Yes....from my understanding is...the seed is the Holy Spirit, not sure what you believe?
If the Holy Spirit doesn’t remain, then I guess they were never Born Again of imperishable seed.
What are your thoughts?
Just my opinion, sin is the transgression of the law. The only law is to love your neighbor as yourself.I guess the Sons of the devil aren’t Born Again.
Another thing I have thought about...when we become Born Again and receive our new nature in Christ.....we can still have carnal thoughts, therefore act out those carnal thoughts.
This is where renewing of our minds is vital for spiritual growth, is of vital importance, I mean, first, we have to come to an understanding in the Spirit, what the renewing of our minds even means.
Just my thoughts and opinion.
Yes, this makes sense. and yes the disciples were called Christian, butI believe that the Spirit of God was inside of Jesus reconciling Himself to the world, and that same spirit was within them. The fruit of that spirit is what made them appear as Christ,, so they were called Christians.
Please can you give your testimony on how you received the indwelling Holy Spirit? To be born again is to receive the indwelling Holy Spirit.
I call my self Born Again....I am not a Christian....One here calls herself a born again, but not a Christian. What do you make of that?
Then quote scripture that says this?I said that you, nor anyone else today, receives divinely inspired revelation from the Holy Spirit.
Where does it say they are not? What is the difference between a Born Again and a Christian?....where does Gods word say they are exactly the same?
Can you please answer the question...one more time....Where does it say they are not?
Quote scripture that says you have received divinely inspired revelation. Then quote scripture that says this?
Because we were sinners. Why do we need to be Born Again and are we then reconciled back to God?
To make it possible for us to be forgiven our sins and be born again and have the debt paid that we owed for the sins we commit. Why did Jesus have to die?
It is being made spiritually alive. That has nothing to do with receiving divine revelation from the Holy Spirit. If being Born of the Spirit ..isn’t receiving divine revelation from the Holy Spirit, what is it then?
By dying on the cross as a sacrifice for the sins of the world. How did Jesus make us “ free” from the law of sin and death?
YesDo you understand that we are reconciled back to God when we become Born Again of imperishable/ incorruptible seed?
It can mean several things, but it is generally accepted that it means living a sinful life, never having been saved. The word here says, to be carnally minded means death....what does that mean?
Again, it is generally accepted that it means having been saved. To be spiritually minded is life and peace as Gods word says.....what does that mean?
They are sinners. In the NT there are saints and there are sinners. Saints have been saved, sinners have not. And even though Saints do indeed sin as Paul points out in Romans 7, one who has been saved is not called or referred to as a sinner. The term sinner is strictly for the unsaved.Who are they that are in the flesh that cannot please God as his word says.....why can’t those who are in flesh please God?
As JimC said in Reply #169, a Christian is a follower of Christ. The Greek word Χριστιανός [Christianos] means follower of Christ. Can one be born again and not be a follower of Christ? Answer - Of course not.Can you please answer the question...one more time....
Where does Gods word say that a Christian is Born Again, please provide scripture?
Quote scripture that says you have received divinely inspired revelation.
Because we were sinners.
If being made spiritually alive isn’t divine revelation....then please explain what spiritually Alive means, then back it up with scripture? To make it possible for us to be forgiven our sins and be born again and have the debt paid that we owed for the sins we commit.
It is being made spiritually alive. That has nothing to do with receiving divine revelation from the Holy Spirit.
By dying on the cross as a sacrifice for the sins of the world.
Scripture please that says this above.?Yes
It can mean several things, but it is generally accepted that it means living a sinful life, never having been saved.
Again, it is generally accepted that it means having been saved.
Saints have been saved from what and please post scripture to support what you say? They are sinners. In the NT there are saints and there are sinners. Saints have been saved, sinners have not. And even though Saints do indeed sin as Paul points out in Romans 7, one who has been saved is not called or referred to as a sinner. The term sinner is strictly for the unsaved.
That is an opinion and not supported by Gods word...As JimC said in Reply #169, a Christian is a follower of Christ. The Greek word Χριστιανός [Christianos] means follower of Christ. Can one be born again and not be a follower of Christ? Answer - Of course not.
I don't know how old you are and I really don't care; but I suspect that I was studying God's word years before you were even born. I have even had two years of formal study in Seminary. So I think your accusation of not being interested in studying God's word is really offensive. If you aren’t interested in studying God’s word....then go away, because this post here above is unedifying .....I will report your posts.
That is the meaning of the Greek word in God's word. That is an opinion and not supported by Gods word...
Then please focus...studying God’s word or attending a study in Seminary....does not mean one has been Born Again of the Spirit.I don't know how old you are and I really don't care; but I suspect that I was studying God's word years before you were even born. I have even had two years of formal study in Seminary. So I think your accusation of not being interested in studying God's word is really offensive.
The spirit dead in trespasses and sins. What in us needs to be regenerated?....
